The algorithm does a great job of surfacing life updates from friends and family that I actually care about, while the 'Memories' feature adds a nice nostalgic touch. Facebook is the overwhelming volume of ads and suggested content that clogs up the main feed. It often feels like I have to dig through multiple sponsored posts and 'Recommended For You' pages just to see a handful of updates from my actual friends and family.
