When a problem does arise, which typically happens due to a mistake on our part, the support team is always responsive and quick to offer a solution. They never assign blame, making the experience much more pleasant.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

After more than five years of using this, we still haven't found anything we dislike. Everything has met our expectations so far.

**What problems is eZCom Software EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool enables us to send EDI documents to our customers without needing any prior knowledge of EDI. We remain compliant without the hassle of learning new technology.

In order to have a business relationship with trading partners that require EDI, EZCom assists in the initial setup and testing of the system, and if necessary fine tunes it to run smoothly.

Two things really separated eZCom from the previous EDI solution I was using - user interface and price.  The workflow and ease of use was considerably better. eZCom had a modern feel and was simple to navigate.  The price was also a fraction of what I was paying with another solution.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

I didn't experience any downsides with eZCom personally.

**What problems is eZCom Software EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While we were using EDI for several retailers, it was Home Depot specifically that eZCom could offer enormous benefits.  Invoicing through their Sterling Web Forms was very challenging, leading to missed invoicing and revenue.  eZCom provided a superior interface at a great price.

Simplifying ASN (Advance Ship Notice), label, and invoice generation

Ensuring full EDI compliance with each retailer’s specific requirements

Offering real-time visibility into document status and trading partner communication

Providing reliable customer support when EDI-related questions or mapping issues arise

As a result, we’ve seen faster turnaround times, fewer chargebacks, improved accuracy, and better efficiency across our supply chain operations. It’s significantly reduced the time and stress involved in managing retail logistics and compliance.

The myweborder website is slightly in older style, may need some modernization in the future.

The platform is intuitive and efficient for handling EDI transactions. What stood out most was the excellent customer support—clear communication, fast responses, and real solutions. It made the setup and integration process feel much easier than expected.

The interface could benefit from minor visual updates to feel more modern, and it would be helpful to have clearer documentation for first-time users. However, the support team fills in the gaps effectively.

Accessibility to support when there is an issue or question that arises. Support is given via email when appropriate or over the phone with a knowledgeable crew member. Typically one member takes responsibility and guides you through the project, start to finish.

Trading documents and files with partners that prefer or mandate sharing via EDI. Our internal system does not support this type of file sharing so eZCom has solved this issue.

The software is easy to use and the customer service is excellent.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

I don't see any downsides to using the software. So far, all of my issues have been resolved after further consultation with the team. The only issue that I can find is I'd like to make a few more edits to the BOL we generate from the site, but that is minor.

This has helped us integrate with our larger retailers.

The people I talked to, both in sales and customer service, were very helpful and very reasonable. Definitely a plus compared to many you'll talk to. Very happy to help and answer any questions and meet the deadlines we needed to hit. We are new to EDI so that was very helpful and comforting. Was happy with the price and ability to pause and use as needed as well.

Software is a bit old school, more a 2000s era business software user experience than a clean, user friendly, modern SaaS. Good service papers over the mediocre software.

It can be completed at first because of the different ways to ship orders depending on the size and quantity  but it takes time to learn and get it correct.

The platform really allows you to connect and integrate with most of the known large retail companies in the US. They have an amazing support and integration approach, making the process very easy, almost seamless. Their customer support is top notch. They really guide you through the process making it easy, even for non-tech people.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

Depending on what kind of documents you send with your partners, the costs can sky rocket fast. Inventory synchronizations can be very costly via EDI because you end up sending multiple documents, every hour. This applies if you have a large inventory (e.g. 100,000 SKUs in inventory to sync every hour).

**What problems is eZCom Software EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to integrate and comply with various large retailers that all have different requirements, information to send, procedures, etc. eZCom makes it easy to integrate with all of these. They really guide you throughout the process.

Update: Jan. 2025: I am updating my review to reflect the time I spent using the software and the support. 
I cannot believe how helpful and responsive the entire company is with any issues we encounter. 
There is no other company that I work with that is this helpful and quick at resolving any issues or questions I may have. It was implemented very easily and the integration with Chewy was simple and effortless. Our staff had no issues and it was software we used daily. 

From the initial contact with Jim in sales, to the set up and the support, eZCom has been amazing! They are kind, helpful, and responsive. They explain any support issues with screenshots, so it makes everything so much easier. Using an EDI is new for me, and every time I have emailed with a question or issue, the folks at eZcom have resolved my problem quickly. They help me to resolve it, so it helps me going forward too.

After using eZCom software for over a year I can honestly say there is nothing I dislike. The support and use of use is perfect, it had all the features we needed to work with a third party platform. 

I don't have any other experiences with EDIs, but from what I was told by a IT professional the interface with eZcom is much better than other EDIs. I really don't dislke anything right now.

**What do you like best about eZCom Software EDI?**

We’ve been with EZCom for about 12 years now, and I can confidently say they’ve been nothing short of exceptional.

When it comes to EDI, you just want it to work. That wasn’t our experience starting out — we originally launched with SPS Commerce, who at the time (and maybe still) was the dominant player in the space. Our first major order was around 10,000 boxes, each requiring a unique label. After days of label printing through SPS, we realized their system had a glitch that printed a multiple of each label — either 3x or 4x. With tens of thousands of labels and each one being unique, it was physically impossible to sort through the mess and salvage the order in time.

To say it was a nightmare is an understatement. We spent days on the phone with SPS tech support, desperately trying to fix things as a massive shipment deadline loomed. The issue even reached their CEO — who, to his credit, was a great guy and offered us extended free service. But it was clear: no amount of free service would justify staying if something like that could happen again.

That’s when we found EZCom — and we’ve been with them ever since. Nearly twelve years later, we’ve had zero issues. We get orders, we invoice, we get paid. I don’t have to think about it — and that’s exactly how EDI should work.

Their tech team is responsive and easy to work with, especially when onboarding a new retail partner. Their pricing is fair, and their leadership has always done right by us.

Highly recommend EZCom — they’ve earned our loyalty many times over.

Have now been an eZCom user for over 10 years and compared to other EDI platforms it is by far the most user friendly!  If we are mandated to use another platform we run it thru eZCom to simplify the role of our CSR team. On the rare instance when we need assistance we are able to speak with a real person or use the help function which actually does a great job of explaining the steps to take.  Also, the platform is very user friendly and intuitive to use.  Everything is clearly defined and easy to understand making it the most efficient EDI provider we use. Shortest window of time from start to finish for implementation too!

Only thing that could make eZCom better is if it were free!

I use EDI almost everyday, I like the ease of fulfilling an order from a retailer as well as the automated invoicing that I am able to do. Customer support is always quick and friendly whenever it comes to an issue on a PO  or just have a question about services available. Integrating and implementing EDI within our company has been an easy and smooth process from help from custmer service on setting up to my employees being able to use the software without any issues.

The only thing that I believe needs work is the amount of automated messages my message center recieves.

EDI solves the problem of messy order forms from different retailers, this allows little to no mistakes in ordering items. It solves any errors that could be made in invoicing by taking information I have confimed/entered in to the system.

Switching to eZCom was a smooth transition and it was great to have live support to answer my questions. I am very pleased with eZCom, they can help make adjustments to fit your specific needs and to reduce time when processing orders.

I would like to manipulate the csv template to show columns in a specific order but have been told that cannot be done. I have to manually change each report I download.

**What do you like best about eZCom Software EDI?**

eZCom was super easy to implement.  The implementation team handled everything and walked me through what I needed to do.  Whenever I've ran into an issue or needed help, the customer support team is easy to reach and has always been able to help answer my questions on the call.  The software is very user friendly and connects with QBO.  Best part is it's hundreds of dollars cheaper than some other EDI platforms.  Highly recommend eZCom to anyone needing to connect for EDI!

We have not ran into any issues or things we dislike yet.

eZCom is allowing us to receive POs from vendors and send all of the required documents including invoicing.

**What do you like best about eZCom Software EDI?**

They handled the setup to connect a big retailer we ship to via EDI and held an instructional session so our team could learn how to use the system, which was very helpful and easy to use. Any questions for support was answered in a timely manner with screenshots and supporting documentation. They are also available by phone for support during normal business hours. They have made everything easy and simple, with options to integrate with QuickBooks as we grow in the future.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

The interface is simple but also slightly outdated looking. Nothing is bad about it, it just looks a bit dated. I would rather have something look dated and work well than it look sleek and new but function poorly!

**What problems is eZCom Software EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

eZCom Software EDI is solving the problem of large retailers requiring EDI for processing Purchase Orders and sending Invoices. As you grow as a company, the data requirements get more complex and you can't just send an email like we used to as a small business. EZCOM has made it easier for us to work with large retailers as we grow. This software helps standardize data and communicate with large retailers we ship to effortlessly.

They are quick to answer questions and update settings and maps. Always keep you informed, have worked with all types of Dropship partners. Very dependable platform, they follow up with the customer if there is a transmission issue, most likely the problem comes from the vendor and not EZCOM.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

Would like them to develop order management systems, not satisfied with their pricing models. Printing UPS labels should not be so expensive.

**What problems is eZCom Software EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps all my orders, order changes, ASN, and invoices in an organized fashion. Never a doubt about what has been sent or where we are in the order fulfillment process.

The assistance that their support team supplies is amazing.   This was our first time using EDI to connect with a large retailer.   Their support team immediately had the answers we needed.   I'm not sure I've ever received such good support.

It took some time to understand how the system works.  But after experiencing their support, I don't worry about this.   A few things that we were initially confused about were cleared up immediately when we asked their support team.

Needed to connect with a retailer's EDI system.  It seemed daunting at first but eZCom made it quite easy.

I love that their techs are state-side so I can get answers and help in my time zone, the discovery call to implementation has been the least-stressful tech project ever. I've been tearing my hair out for years over old our old EDI provider and eZCom just walked right in, had us switched over in 48 hours, and we were trained the following week.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

Nothing comes to mind - seriously  easy!

**What problems is eZCom Software EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We could never get our old EDI connection 100% functional and it was constantly breaking. I had to be the intermediary between the old provider and the trading partner, eZCom had no problem talking directly to the trading partner, giving me back my time and not wasting it playing telephone.

I'm far from a "poweruser" and frequently have questions (EDI is not my area of expertise or interest tbh).  The support team at eZCom are always available, easy to understand, super patient, and so far they have always got me going again.  I don't have to spend ages on hold, wait for a call back or get left hanging.

**What do you dislike about eZCom Software EDI?**

I don't really have any dislikes.  It could be cheaper, but if that diminished the level of service I'd rather pay more.

**What problems is eZCom Software EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

eZCom saves me a ton of time because I don't have to transfer data manually.  I know that's basic EDI, but it works all day everyday and that's what I need.

Fair pricing and great support. I cant stress how important support is during vendor setups and last minute changes and they check all the boxes! Started with SPS Commerce and it was a nightmare. eZCom does not even compare. I did alot of research before choosing eZCom. Leaving a review to help other's save time. Highly Recommend

Only downside was finding that they existed. I was recommended by my piers.
