What do you like best about Extensis GeoExpress?

COMPRESSION! No other software compresses and image like this one. I have used this as long as I have been in the field, and continue to do so to compress my large county collect images with MrSID compression. This will make a large image manageable on a network scale. This software also makes images easy to clip and bring down to a smaller target area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extensis GeoExpress?

I don't like the fact you have to purchase a container to convert to MrSID compression. When you want to convert a TIFF or JPG to a MrSID, you have to use a credit that is purchased after the fact (so much per GB). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Extensis GeoExpress solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing large aerial image and image data. The compression of MrSID alone is worth it. Over these benefits, having the ability to crop an image to a project area and make it even smaller yet makes image store even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
