**What do you like best about Extensis GeoExpress?**

COMPRESSION!  No other software compresses and image like this one.  I have used this as long as I have been in the field, and continue to do so to compress my large county collect images with MrSID compression.  This will make a large image manageable on a network scale.  This software also makes images easy to clip and bring down to a smaller target area.

**What do you dislike about Extensis GeoExpress?**

I don't like the fact you have to purchase a container to convert to MrSID compression.  When you want to convert a TIFF or JPG to a MrSID, you have to use a credit that is purchased after the fact (so much per GB).

**Recommendations to others considering Extensis GeoExpress:**

Try it out, make sure it does what you want it to do.  It works very well and rarely ever has any programming issues.

**What problems is Extensis GeoExpress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing large aerial image and image data.  The compression of MrSID alone is worth it.  Over these benefits, having the ability to crop an image to a project area and make it even smaller yet makes image store even better.
