What do you like best about Expend?

The app is very quick and alerts transactions straight away to remind me to take pic of receipt. The fact that it is linked to my bookkeeping software means that is one less headache i need to worry about. I just spend on the card, get the alert on phone, tax a pic and categorise and save. The transaction is linked into to QB with ease. Likewise with employee expenses, once I approve on Expens site, it goes straight to my creditors ledger to remind me of amounts i need to pay. What do you dislike about Expend?

At the moment expenses are not automatically categorised - ie if I regular use my card for parking fees, I would love for machine learning to automatically categorise the spend based on my previous spending history. Expend are great at responding to chat through app and on website and I know they are working on this to improve with AI. Can't wait to see their next set of improvements in action. Recommendations to others considering Expend:

What problems is Expend solving and how is that benefiting you?

Expend is great for keeping track of expenses. Employees can submit expense claims with receipts through the app. Once I review on the admin site, it's accepted as a debt that the company needs to repay. Also I love the functionality to that receipts are captured there and then and not lost, It has saved me lots of time on bookkeeping as it's linked to my QB file. Great for employees expenses and team cards as I can assign a balance for the team to spend on based on requirements. It is also easy to lock the card if it is ever lost or misplaced. The team are awesome at helping deal in such situations to arrange a replacement card very quickly. Definitely one of my favourite apps and one I recommend to my clients for their purposes.
