"Why Evernote makes sense as a communication tool."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Evernote?

Evernote makes keeping and tracking notes for all your projects, ideas and other forms of communications easy because it allows you to seamlessly record information from any device you may be using. Its multi-platform versions give you the flexibility to use whatever device you choose. Great, because no one works the same as everyone else!

Because it is a cloud-based app, you can access your notes from anywhere. This is especially beneficial to those of us who travel or work away from a traditional office on a regular basis. Having the ability to capture my thoughts wherever I am gives me the freedom to ponder more difficult problems, and record the solution when and where I choose.

Once that idea has evolved, I need to get others' opinions and buy-ins. This is where Evernote shines, since I can share it with my colleagues or clients. And have the confidence that it is secured in my cloud, allowing me to decide the levels of security I want to place on the document.

Having trouble organizing thoughts??? Evernote has a system of tags that gives you the power to tag or group your notes into collections that make sense to you. Super beneficial if your project reaches across several spectrums or lines of business.

Oh and by the way, Evernote comes also as a Chrome extension, so it is super easy to grab that data that you just found that supports your theory, and attach it right to your note. Bring in a picture, a graphic or a link, Evernote can handle it all. Wow, that really makes sense! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Evernote?

Evernote can be troublesome when you are trying to keep your formatting consistent throughout the document, especially if you have copied and pasted information from an outside source. Your information will import easily into MS Word or other document apps, so this really isn't a show stopper for me. The benefits outweigh the disadvantages.
