If I need to redact the same name or social security number for example, throughout the document, Everlaw allows me to do that. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** I dislike that I cannot delete pages in a large document in Everlaw. For example, sometimes when large files are uploaded there are blank pages throughout that should not be included. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** I love the new ability to rotate just one page in a document without it rotating all of the pages. Also the batch features makes delegating review between multiple individuals much easier. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** I think two areas that could be made much more intuitive is one, creating an easy rule to toggle on for labeling attachments the same as their parent files. The second is making the Refine function easier to sort by file type. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everlaw allows me to be able to synthesize large amounts of documents with the results if that synthesis being easier accessible to multiple parties on multiple devices. **Official Response from Miguel Allende:** > Thanks for your valuable feedback! The ""Auto-code rules"" feature can be used to ensure that all documents in a given context, including attachment families, are coded similarly. Also, we understand how navigating through Everlaw can be tricky at times, but we do have a search function that allows users to search for documents by their native file type. By utilizing the ""Type"" term in the search function, users can narrow down search results to specific types of documents, such as emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, calendars, etc. It's common to experience a learning curve when using new software or technology, and Everlaw is no exception. If we have questions, we have great support available both quickly and thoroughly. The support techs are very efficient and offer many solutions to the problem, if there is not a solution to our problem they consider adding it to the platform. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** Very few downsides. Sometimes the paths to productions are not so intuitive, sort of buried in the application but we can find it. Maybe make the paths more obvious? **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everlaw helps us with our document production by making it easy to use for our attorneys and paralegals. The coding is easy breezy for our attorneys as well as setting up the protocols for paralegals. ### 12. They are always changing and adding new features, which makes it a never-ending learning process. However, with these changes come new and exciting ways to increase the quality and ease of your work. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** For me, learning about features for deposition review and key term review has been a game-changer. Being able to highlight and export excerpts that contain relevant information for the attorney makes these projects run much more smoothly. ### 13. The website is easy to navigate because the layout contains every button that may be needed in order to properly analyze documents. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** I would like to be able to adjust the tabs on the right of my screen when reviewing documents so they are not clustered. That would provide me the ability to see all of the tabs at once without scrolling up and/or down to see each tab. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everlaw is allowing me to assist in the analysis and tagging of documents for a civil class action lawsuit. They are involved and dedicated and care about making your experience positive. They also work hard to make sure that Everlaw works for you as an individual customer. We have requested changes and additions multiple times, and Everlaw has found a way to update the platform or adapt it to our needs. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** There is a learning curve with Everlaw, like with any software or new technology. Our biggest difficulty has been learning Everlaw as employees in the public sector. We have different workflows than those in the private sector, and we find that many of the standard trainings and resources were created with the private sector in mind, rather than the public sector. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everlaw saves us time and resources in reviewing data. It also helps keep us organized. Being part of a small EDiscovery team at a law firm, Everlaw lets me get through an incredible volume of data super efficiently, providing my attorney teams with the information they need to make their cases. It also displays document threads and families in a way that allows for easy investigation into documents when applicable, and often helps us find unknown or lesser known issues in the matter that our clients haven't disclosed. Highly recommend for getting through a lot of data quickly. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** The hardest thing about Everlaw is getting the people in the law firm to put in the minimal effort to make it useful. Lawyers are very technophobic in general and resistant to using new things. Everlaw has a really simple start up but still I have had issues getting our attorney teams to use it. **What problems is Everlaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting through immense amounts of data quickly has been the best solution Everlaw offers. ### 16. Love the auto email threading. Ingesting native and produced data is easy and straight forward. Comprehensive permissions per user and group. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** I wish that the sofware learned our common search filters and showed those automatically in the default available fields. Switching to the next document is almost instant, and Everlaw takes the pain out of using our traditional non-cloud-based e-discovery management software. It's Everlaw, by far the most intuitive, time-saving platform available. With the multiple pre-sets, one can customize both the window format and coding order for each new batch of documents. No other platform has this capability. Coding can be set for the entire review, but each reviewer can individualize how they appear and are grouped to allow for one-click coding for frequently repeating documents with similar coding. One can assign groups of codes to one pre-set, change them as the batch changes, see duplicate and family documents on the same screen as the current document and code them all together or individually. The jinxyness of larger platforms that crash frequently during peak hours or with large productions is a thing of the past. It's as though the client and reviewer collaborated to design the most efficient and detailed platform available that produces the most precise result for a fraction of the cost of other review platforms. Once you use Everlaw, you will never go back. I just wish the east coast would find out what the west coast has discovered and more clients here would catch on. The frustration of losing work that was unsaved during frequent crashes is a thing of the past, as changes save automatically. One can also easily make revisions, if new protocol is issued, by seeing the entire dataset at once under another view as well as seeing and finding similarly coded documents or especially important documents. Product support is available with the click of a button as is the ability to send a document to a coworker and get input or highlight something important to the client or review lead. There are some products on the market that are designed to promote their own existence by making them difficult to navigate without hiring product managers and project leads. Everlaw isn't one of them. It's designed so that the managing attorney of a case can understand, run and monitor her own review without having to hire multiple third-party companies and their support networks driving up the price to exclude all but the largest clients with multi-million dollar budgets. **What do you dislike about Everlaw?** I wish more clients knew about Everlaw as the better alternative for discovery review.
