That's helpful. **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** I have now experienced twice the failure of communication from the platform , as well as zero ability to reach out to support. Today, I received a notification of a cancelled ticket. OK, why? Turns out the organizer first used the platform to notify all ticket holders of why the event was cancelled, and I did not receive it. Not even in SPAM. Four years ago, for a paid event, I showed up in Los Angeles to an event that had been cancelled. I have been on the receiving end of EventBrite four times, and two of them botched the cancellation notification. Add to that the complete inability to contact anyone there or obtain any kind of end-user support, and you have a platform that I would never recommend for anyone to use to manage their events. **What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organizing Events is something. ### 2. You can customize the registration look and feel uploading your own graphics and logos. Map creation for in person events is built-in. There are Opt-In buttons to sign registrants up to lists and services you may offer. There is an email system to contact registrants with updates and premium add-ons. Eventbrite offers different tiers of service with a Free version and monthly paid tiers. Small numbers of tickets are free with staggered tier fees for more than 25 tickets. They offer templates for differing types of events to simplify event creation. A new feature is an AI automation creator tool which suggests text and helps your event creation process. **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** The total cost tends to be higher when compared to other event creation tools. Constant Contact offers a decent event tool that when combined with the Constant Contact other tools has more bang for the buck. **What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eventbrite offers a complete solution in one package for connecting to payment options, tracking, contacting, reporting, analyzing and more. This replaces multiple tools with one complete solution. ### 3. It feels less daunting than ticketing platforms like ticketek which I believe creates a less stressful buying experience for the customer. **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** The lack of editability in modules on the Event page, specifically pertaining to the must have information such as map, date, time which are automatically at the top of the page taking up a lot of space. This then requires the customer to scroll further to read anything about the event itself. **What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It can facilitate tickets for recurring events in a cross marketable way between dates which is perfect for sales retention (which surprisingly is not optimised on many other ticketing platforms). I love that we can add images, videos, descriptions and essentially lay out the event page how we want. ### 13. All the basic information about it is asked in a very structured way and that makes it easier to manage it. It also allows checking past events you've created which can be an interesting source of data. I also like that it's possible to have different profiles setup within one account, so you can manage different "organizations". **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** I always get confused when it's time to generate the shortened link to share the event. I think that's something that could be improved and the link could be part of the overall process of creating the event. Because I use it only a few times a year, I always need to Google how to do that. It could be improved in terms of promoting locally / choosing how to promote it / geofencing / targeting. **What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating, managing, and sharing events for our educational/accelerator programs. Also, I like the advanced search at Eventbrite, which allows me to find events in my area of interest, like technology. **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** The process of registering to attend any event takes a lot of time, and I need to repeat it each time I register for a different event. I don't like the interface of Eventbrite as it is a little bit difficult to move through the different booths of an event. For some reason I have about 6 different customer lists. I havno idea how that happened. I did not create those. It creates trust with attendees and is an easy way to share and spread the word about the event. You can create recurring events, which we've found particularly helpful as we don't need to keep setting up monthly events. We use it for networking and community events; we got more interest in sharing the event via Eventbrite than posting events on FB events etc. **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** Overall i don't find anything in particular we dislike. Sometimes it can be confusing to cancel/postpone an event as you have to go through a process, you'll receive prompts on how to do it, but it's not always clear. **What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everything you need to create, manage and promote an event is in one place; you can share the event via social for increase reach. There are other ticket portals which we have used but they always seem to be more complicated; we've never had to contact Eventbrite support as it's all self explanatory. **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** There's very little I dislike about Eventbrite. It perhaps looks a little dated from the customer-facing side compared to other ticket vendors so it would be nice to see them come in line with others in that respect. **What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to seamlessly sell tickets through our Facebook Events as well as providing an easy method to contact ticket buyers with last minute changes or important information about the event they are attending. ### 25. I suppose I would just recommend the desktop side over the Mobile, in that case. **Recommendations to others considering Eventbrite:** Organization is only a click away with this site! When people are looking for events they do one of three things; check Google, Eventbrite, or Facebook. When choosing to put events on Eventbrite, you know that it has the highest potential of being successful just for the fact that it was placed there. It is definitely my go-to when I go out of town looking for fun! I also enjoy that even if you aren't selling tickets specifically on Eventbrite, you can still insert the link for ticket purchasing on the platform. **What do you dislike about Eventbrite?** There isn't much that I dislike about Eventbrite. I will say, that being that I use the platform just to advertise my events, I wish there was a specific option for just that and not have to integrate ticket sales using their platform.
