It is the worldleading social trading network, with millions of registered users and an array of innovative trading and investment tools. ## eToro Reviews ### 1. Great Investment Options, but Costs and Support Still Feel Unclear **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Miguel C. | CS support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026 **What do you like best about eToro?** It offers a wide range of investment options, though I’m still left wondering about the true costs involved. The ability to invest across diverse markets is definitely a major advantage. It also saves me time by displaying market prices clearly in an easy-to-search format. The platform includes a basic AI interface that performs at an average level, and it integrates multiple payment platforms, making deposits simple and convenient. **What do you dislike about eToro?** What I dislike about eToro is mainly the customer service experience and how disconnected the system feels overall. The AI support interface doesn’t seem properly synced with either the actual customer service team or the platform itself. I had a bad experience where I submitted a withdrawal using one payment method, but the system processed it through a different one. The AI assistant repeatedly assured me the withdrawal had been sent to the original payment method, but when I finally spoke to a real person, they told me that wasn’t true. If I hadn’t kept insisting on getting an update, I never would have known what actually happened. I also feel that eToro charges high fees and commissions for many services, while withdrawal timeframes are far too long. In one case, I waited almost nine business days for a withdrawal to reach my bank account. Overall, everything just feels slow and poorly coordinated. Another frustrating experience was when I opened a back-office support ticket. The representative initially responded quickly and asked for screenshots, which made it seem like the issue would be resolved right away. But after I submitted everything, I didn’t receive another response for five or six days. Back in 2020, eToro felt much more polished and reliable. The platform seemed more active, customer support felt more responsive, and the app overall worked better. Lately, though, it feels like the quality has declined. The customer service is weaker, the AI support is unreliable, and the app itself has too many glitches and synchronization issues. **What problems is eToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** eToro helps me to invest across different markets and gives me the ability to leverage my positions for long-term growth. In my opinion, it’s not really designed for short-term investing or quick trading, but it can be useful for building and scaling funds over time. I also like the flexibility of being able to diversify investments and gradually grow my portfolio through different asset classes. ### 2. Nice and simple. To start in the world of Investments! **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jairo C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2023 **What do you like best about eToro?** I like that Etoro's platform is intuitive and easy for people who may not have experience with other brokers or who are starting in the world of investments, we must remember that the broker is only the intermediary between the owner companies or stock exchange, it does not mean that by entering our money we will become rich overnight. **What do you dislike about eToro?** Like most brokers the Swap costs and commissions in some operations can be quite high so if you do not have good knowledge of the StopLoss or amount of lots or investment to make you can lose a lot of money, however you must train yourself before entering. **What problems is eToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has allowed me to diversify my savings, with a lot of responsibility, that is to say, I took part of my savings and I have been investing it in different stocks, withdrawing partial withdrawals, so it is a good solution to obtain returns, but remember that the risk is also great as you can obtain good returns you can also lose them. ### 4. I like the interface too and all the analytic data that offers **What do you dislike about eToro?** It's not for expert traders. It's more simple. It has improved a lot since I used it and has most of the stocks and crypto available. The best and the handiest feature of the app is the copy portfolio. You can copy the best traders if you do not wish to brainstorm and know much about the investment. I just love it as it has worked great for me till now **What do you dislike about eToro?** eToro mainly has issues with big volumes on trades . For me its not an issue as I am a long term investment person. dont have much to dislike as I did not face any issue till now. **What problems is eToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is quite easy to use; buying and selling is instantly done as compared to the other platforms I have used. Depositing money is easy and even got my money paid out perfectly. Would highly recommend it :) ### 7. The sign-up process was straightforward. Trades are done in real time, and I have not encountered any issue over six months of trading activity. Another feature I like about eToro is that it offers different ways of depositing funds into my eToro account, including wire transfer, credit/debit card, and PayPal. Not many online trading platforms accept PayPal deposits; the fact eToro does was one of the reasons why I decided to join. eToro offers a range of services and tools according to the customer's membership tier, which depends on the customer's realized equity. As an eToro Platinum+ member, I especially appreciate the complimentary digital subscriptions to The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times Standard Edition. Both publications provide insightful news and editorials. **What do you dislike about eToro?** Although eToro facilitates trading on several different stock exchanges, I have found that not all stocks and ETFs listed on them can be traded on eToro. This issue is not a significant issue for me as most, if not all, companies with the largest market capitalizations can be traded on eToro. If an ETF in which I am interested is not available for trading on eToro, I am usually able to find a similar alternative ETF that is. **Recommendations to others considering eToro:** I recommend they open an eToro account for free and explore the eToro trading platform. eToro offers a $100,000d demo account, which you can use to simulate trades and experience the functionality of the user interface without any risk. **What problems is eToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** With eToro, I can easily trade stocks and ETFs listed on the NYSE and NASDAQ, as well as cryptocurrencies – as a trader and investor in Southeast Asia, trading and investing in these financial assets would have been more difficult otherwise. The ability to deposit funds into my eToro account by different methods, including PayPal, is convenient. Finally, the digital subscriptions to The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times as perks of my Platinum+ membership are value-added benefits I appreciate. ### 8. I'm looking for other alternatives. I could say you can find your way around the app easily, but it's not that easy. You have to spend quite some time on it. **What do you dislike about eToro?** I tried using eToro first without making any deposits. Since I've used a few other platforms that caused issues when withdrawing funds and in different situations, I wanted to try the eToro's virtual account out first. I've run into problems like when I tried to change my password, no eToro platform will allow it, not the site, not the app. I've sent SEVERAL messages asking eToro to help me out, but they just send me automated replies saying they're not going to help me until I've deposited some money. But honestly, I CANNOT make any deposits if that's the message they're sending me. **What problems is eToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems I've had are still there. EToro will not reply to me until I've made a deposit, but as I said previously, I DO NOT feel comfortable depositing money to a company that's clearly not willing to help out a prospective customer one bit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ETORO! ### 9. Use coinbase or other trading platforms that actualy has a functional customer service department that does not hide behind obscurity. Use companies that are reachable by phone or through live chat that does not first require you to login into their services, since that might be the very issue you may need to solve at times. Overall, eToro feels untrustworthy to be holding and managing my funds, and I cannot in my clear conscious recommend this to anyone. **What problems is eToro solving and how is that benefiting you?** After transferring in my money from my bank account, eToro locked me out of my own account. For some reason, their 'email login' link is not being sent, which effectually prevents me from accessing my own money. Live chat function is only accessible once a user is logged in, which is utter foolishness, since it cannot be used by users like me who are having trouble logging in to their system. Their phone number, which was not displayed in their own website and only found through BBB.org search, is automated system without any way to reach a live customer service agent.
