I hired Ethos for my company, several companies I've worked for, and has been brought in to work on projects for my clients and currently have them on retainer. Ethos produces regular blogs and medium-length pieces that are more journalistic. Occasionally I hire them to ghostwrite for my personal posts. We've hired them to do the same for clients. What do you like best about Ethos Copywriting?

Matt, the owner, is delightful to work with and consistently delivers what our projects need. His team is strong in research, regularly bringing in more contextual information than other writing firms we've hired. We usually need to strike a tone that is informative but isn't stiffly technical. Ethos has a good 'professional conversation' tone that we like, and they're flexible enough to adapt as the job requires. Always hits deadlines - which has been rare in our experience. What do you dislike about Ethos Copywriting?

Ethos is a team of highly skilled professionals, which means the quality is very high but there aren't wildly divergent styles represented on the team. For the kind of writing we need, that's not a problem, and I expect with continued growth that'll change, but it's something of a limit on how broadly we could apply them today. What problems is Ethos Copywriting solving and how is that benefiting you?

We need to communicate a lot of information to people who aren't just making purchases; they're changing behaviors and sometimes adapting to new work and lifestyle values. Persuasive arguments about 'the good life' are difficult to make; the writer needs to have a good conceptual understanding of some pretty abstract notions. Ethos has helped us communicate those abstract ideas to thousands of readers, and often find empirical points to bring in that we hadn't considered.
