What do you like best about eSurvey?

As an accounting firm handling client financial data daily, ease of use and reliability are our top priorities, and eSurvey delivers well on both fronts. The drag-and-drop builder is extremely approachable; anyone on our team can build custom intake forms or service feedback surveys in minutes, no technical expertise needed. We’ve saved dedicated templates for new client onboarding and post-filing feedback, which saves a ton of repetitive work, especially during busy tax season and month-end closing. The unified response dashboard is one of my favorite features. All submissions pop up in real time, and we can sort entries by client name, industry or operating region, making it simple to manage work across Ontario and British Columbia. We no longer have to dig through piles of emails or loose paperwork to find key information. I also rely a lot on its basic reporting functions. We can generate quick summaries and visual breakdowns of responses, which we use for internal reviews and to adjust our services accordingly. Being able to set mandatory fields on forms ensures we collect all required financial and business details upfront, cutting down on back-and-forth emails with clients. Most importantly, its solid access controls and data security let us stay aligned with PIPEDA guidelines, which is non-negotiable for our regulated industry. What do you dislike about eSurvey?

There are a few noticeable limitations that impact our daily workflows. The file upload tool is quite restrictive. Our clients often need to submit multi-page financial statements, tax slips and receipts alongside their forms, but the file size cap forces them to split documents into multiple uploads. This scatters files across different entries and makes organizing records for CRA audits far more tedious. The notification system also lacks flexibility. Right now we only receive generic alerts for every new submission, with no way to set priorities or filter alerts by survey type or client group. During peak tax periods, our inboxes get flooded with routine notifications, and it’s easy to miss high-priority submissions from new clients or accounts with urgent requests.
