What do you like best about Eon Data Protection?
What I like most is that this platform is a strong option for offsite backups as part of disaster recovery. Its seamless integration with AWS resources is a major advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Eon Data Protection?
One major issue related to PostrgeSQL DBs in RDS/Aurora is that Eon backups do not preserve any of the user and passwords contained in the database. Obviously, this is a disadvantage over snapshots taken in RDS natively. However, I'm told they will be addressing this with a feature improvement in an upcoming version of Eon.
