What do you like best about Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido?

The layout and easy-to-use functions are great to navigate through the different software's available for everyday use. It provides the simple information we need for reliable checks. Being able to complete checks on ID documents and facial similarity is a big help for our onboarding process, as it lets us request fewer documents, maintain a high level of scam/fraud detection, and onboard clients quickly with less hassle. Having the anti-impersonation check, electronic verification, and document checker all in one place is fantastic too. What do you dislike about Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido?

Sometimes the document check can take longer than other resources to show a status (rejected, approved). While this isn’t the end of the world, it makes the process feel a bit less streamlined and can delay onboarding. Also, when files are downloaded, it would be helpful if they were named using the client’s name rather than a number Onfido has generated for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido solving and how is that benefiting you?

Onfido means we don’t have to request multiple ID+V documents from our clients, whether they’re based in the UK or elsewhere around the world, such as Europe, Canada, and the US. It gives us the reassurance of a higher level of fraud detection by verifying both the documents and the client through an anti-impersonation check, which helps us feel more at ease, safe, and secure when starting or continuing business relationships.
