## Emma Reviews
  ### 1. Building emails takes twice as long as it should

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian F. | Communication Specialist, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Analytics - very good response statistics, lots of detail.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Everything else. The interface for building emails is trash. Randomly inserts break tags in text. Changing text color is a fiasco. Very limited options for photo sizes. Code generated by drag-&-drop editor is an absolute mess. No option to create email categories for people to opt out of. Not a good tool for membership-based audience list, where I need to upload an entirely new list every time -- automatic import doesn't provide an option to remove expired members.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Stop considering it. It shouldn't even be on your list of contenders. Use MailChimp or Constant Contact instead.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This program came to me with a new client. The benefits over the system most of our clients use: better response metrics.

  ### 2. Good Email Marketing Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle M. | Social Media Specialist, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

One of my favorite things about Emma is the recent mailings view that is there when you login in. It gives you a snapshot if important information of your most recent campaign. It also includes all the important info that you use to track your campaign trends (open rate, click rate).

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I dislike the lack of ability to edit templates. Sometimes it is easier to just start from scratch with a black template, then you can do whatever you like with it. I also do not like their drag and drop features. It gets difficult putting things where you want them with all the forced boxes and lines that you have to navigate when adding items.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

It is pretty straightforward, and you just need to play around with it if you have never used it before. It is similar to other email marketing platforms like constant contact and mail chimp.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One problem we are solving with this software is connecting with our customers after they leave our store or website. This keeps our customers engaged with us. This is also being used to drive traffic to our social media websites as well as our website.

  ### 3. Emma Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

The ability to to create newsletter is extremely easy as you drag and drop items. Another great aspect is the statistics you see/collect from active responses.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

There is not much room for creativity since you got to use the templates and cannot really move the items around to make it your own. It is user friendly but cannot really create your own brand/image.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Create a new platform for people to create and do their own way of newsletter similar to Canva.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating with large masses of people and having an engaging relatinship with them.

  ### 4. Pretty Powerful Marketing Software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Relatively easy platform to use, easy to use automation
affordable packages, for pro users (up to 10k people)

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I don't like that there isn't a simple "undo" button - but there is a version history and it's unreliable
all features are paid, it seems can't really get stuff that should be simple

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Make sure you ask all questions before you dive in, there are some features that seem native that are not (ie. mass deletion of all photos or documents from library)

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple automated emails send with no additional issues!

  ### 5. Best to buy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayushi A. | Intern, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

It provides a wide range of automation features that help you create emails for customers at any time.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

A bit too expensive. You may find similar products with the same and more features.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I send and create emails for various products to sell it to customers

  ### 6. Works

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Emma?**

My boss can see when we open our emails, so it works

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I don’t like that my boss can see when I open emails

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can see if your employees actually read their emails

  ### 7. Good design, expensive pricing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

The email creator offered many very easy and attractive design options for creating the email body. It was easy to drag and drop new portions of the email - text boxes, photos, buttons, etc - into the design and fill them in from there.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The pricing was very high. I also was caught in a tough spot one time when our contact list number went up and pushed into a new price tier, but was not notified and ended up with a large overage fee that I did not expect.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Get in touch with customer support and get a service rep assigned to your account right away to avoid any problems.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast and easy email creation and sending. Emma also provides excellent reporting on all emails sent out.

  ### 8. Emma Marketing in the workplace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

The ease of having templates already made up for you is great. You just click the category you need and drop the information you want to share into place.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The information has to be approved to comply with the company brand standards and sometimes it can get rejected, making a staff member have to re-do the entire ad.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to use Emma to reach our entire client base at any one time whether it is a beginning of the month blast or specific events.

  ### 9. Be proactive with other companies using Emma

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I can have it in different devices at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I pretty much like everything about it. I can use it with no worries.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Keep in touch with others using this product.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly for personal use. I can have it as a professional email.

  ### 10. Emma

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Museums and Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Emma allows me and multiple colleagues to access campaigns and work on them together and the audience tab is very organized

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I dislike that the cap of our audience cannot grow with our business that it is definitive

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving our email marketing and newsletters with emma and we enjoy the benefits of reaching a wide audience

  ### 11. Very easy to use but can be glitchy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna M. | Senior Instructional Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Not a big learning curve at all. I used it to send out marketing newsletter to clients and I was up to speed on how to do it in less than an hour.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Even though the basic functionality was easy to use, there are some more advanced features that were not as obvious and were harder to get a grasp on. Or maybe they don't exist at all. It was just too hard to figure it out.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was great for quick, attractively packaged email newsletters. Probably would not use it for much more than that.

  ### 12. emma stinks

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Emma?**

they have good deliverability on their ranges

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

they charge crazy amounts in overages it sucks

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

be weary of their email overage charges

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

just email deliv

  ### 13. myEmma is myLifesaver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Wonderful customization of colors, great templating, easy segmentation, clearly organized, strong WYSIWYG and HTML writing capability.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Limited customization of fonts, and I wish the analytics were more detailed by time, i.e. not only seeing who clicked where, but when, as well as a breakdown of when people are reading e-blasts by demographic/time.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Try it!

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have managed to connect, fundraise, collaborate, and promote more events and opportunities with our constituents (alumni, families, faculty, staff, and friends of the institute where I work).

  ### 14. Got the job done, but not as user-friendly as some other platforms.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

The tool did what it was meant to do, and it was usually easy to do it. We were able to create custom lists for various email campaigns, and update them as necessary.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Creating customized templates wasn't super easy or intuitive. There were only a few size options for images, making it hard to fit them in places unless they adhered to the given specs. Editing emails was also tricky, since there wasn't an undo button - you were only able to jump back in time to a previous version all together.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using the tool to send email campaigns to customers. It allowed us to measure the open rates, click through rates, bounce rates, etc.

  ### 15. Quick and Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie L. | Marketing & Advertising Designer, Publishing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

It's easy to move throughout the website

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

There's no "undo" when deleting pieces in EMMA

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

sending invites for events so it's nice to see the click numbers and how many people viewed it

  ### 16. Marketing for Large Crowds

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cecilia R. | Mental Health Worker, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I like that Emma is really user friendly

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Does not have many templates! I wish it had more to work with because that way we could set up every email differently, rather than using the same templates over and over. Another thing they should consider is getting more fonts, as their selection is a bit limited.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

N/A

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can send an email to a large amount of people, which is really beneficial when working in an administrative department for a university

  ### 17. Emma mail is helpful for large email blasts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I like that you can measure the amount of people that opened the email

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I don't like the limitations on email formatting

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we can now send out mass emails to large groups

  ### 18. Good overall

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas S. | Senior Digital Analyst, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

User interface for the platform is very intuitative.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Wish there was more customization options with the templates.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working with different clients across a variety of different industries. Emma makes it easy to keep track and maintain our clients efforts.

  ### 19. Overall good!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I love that it saves templates so i just have to go in and update them each month. Super user friendly and easy to send.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The program is a little slow, but worth it.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching a large audience faster.

  ### 20. Great for Medium Size Businesses getting started in Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

The templates are some of the best email templates in automation systems available. Also - the ability to send in groups is really neat, it's so easy to add and take away people from the groups that any team member could take over if someone was on vacation. They also have excellent customer service.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

It's not as easy to customize as other systems.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

If you want impeccable customer service and an easy to use system this is it. It's also more cost effective than Hubspot or some of the other automation programs running.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email automation, demand generation.

  ### 21. Emma = Easy to Use Marketing Mail

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Emma has great customer service and will help you learn their system to optimize your results.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The only thing I can think to complain about is that some of their knowledge-base trainings are opportunities to try and sell another service. It's like the equivalent of bloatware on a computer.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Always take Emma up on their offer for training, it's invaluable!

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are segmenting audiences and targeting our emails for specific demographics in order to achieve a focused reach with our marketing efforts.

  ### 22. Easy to use and effective email tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

EMMA has a very streamlined user interface that allows for enhanced communication. Platform also comes with many helpful analytics tools and reports.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The organization system for filters and folders is lacking. We send a high volume of emails so it gets hectic without a folder system.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Make sure that you have done your research. EMMA is a great platform because it is user friendly and it can handle the volume of emails and data that our company needs to store.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem EMMA solves is the high volume of emails we send for the university. The biggest benefit of EMMA is no cap on the number of emails we send.

  ### 23. Mass email tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2019

There are great design options for this tool!

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

No dislikes with this product at this point.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass email communication and advertising.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I love that you can export a database into Emma, create a flyer, and send it to everyone! If you add someone new, you can save them to the proper group as well.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Sometimes creating the flyers is not easy.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Use it often!

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save time and schedule blasts!

  ### 25. Clean user interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Great GUI and fantastic templates for our email distribution. Our team found it easy to generate professional content with ease, leaving more time to focus on our content.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Hmmmm. I think perhaps there wasa slight learning curve for some levers of our team but that's about it. I had great feedback from just about everyone.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Take time to lean the basics so you can onboard your team quickly before you start having them tinker.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass distribution of emails.

  ### 26. Emma is user-friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Templates you can create and safe are great. Allows a lot of segmentation and useful analytics. Really love the split test subject line feature. Overall, very intuitive and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

No customization options for images and their sizing, making it difficult sometimes to make a picture within email body look nicely formatted.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

I would highly recommend Emma for mail merge and mass email work. It is very easy to learn how to use it, and if any challenges arise, they have very helpful customer support.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Emma to send e-asks to donors and provide e-news updates to our organization network. It has been great for these purposes, and helped us increase online giving.

  ### 27. Know who you're signing with

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Their email service was easy to use with lots of template choices.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

They get you to sign a basic contract when you signup, but when you access the real, full-length contract, there are some shady clauses that lock you into renewals and additional fees if you're not careful. Be sure to read the FULL contract, not just what they send you directly.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They allow you to see what people are clicking on within the email.

  ### 28. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

MyEmma is an easy to use platform that provides good, clean templates for business use.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The "Audience" feature has suffered in the latest update, and now brings up multiple people in searches, which is quite cumbersome for making updates to people's records.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

I think their templates are the best, but do miss MailChimp's ability to review how emails look in different email platforms.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love being able to track clicks and the visual representation Emma provides in the review is really helpful. Our audiences seem to like the look/feel of these emails.

  ### 29. Data managing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Record keeping

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

The draft making process is pretty easy, all of the controls are intuitive to use

Copying a mailing too many times leads to irruption when it’s sent out so it views strangely. It’s invonvienient

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

It’s a simple, efficient product

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can market to a large audience quickly. It helps us reach specific groups as well

  ### 33. Emma Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

They recently updated their system, making it much easier to use.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The contact system (groups/segments) isn't as user friendly as other email systems. The design system isn't as robust as others, either. Sometimes emails don't go to the full list, but it doesn't tell me why.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

The system is not as robust as other systems. They are making upgrades and improvements, and I think they're headed in the right direction, but there are other systems out there that provide the same services with better quality (Pardot, Hubspot, etc.). The contact management piece can be a bit confusing, and it doesn't track total opens vs. unique opens for email campaigns. It also has a tendency not to send to all members of a list, but doesn't tell you why.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathers subscribers from our website, and manages contact changes (opt-outs, bounces, etc.).

  ### 34. MyEmma Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I love the templates that MyEmma has available.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

It’s occasionally unwieldy to add email contacts to a list.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a great way to keep in touch with our customer base.

  ### 35. You can try it, but do not sign the contract.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Almost nothing. In the first month, I really enjoyed trying to use the platform but I did not receive support from customer service.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Emma requires an annual contract with a section that in essence says, if our software does not work properly on your site, not our problem. They even offered me to disconnect the software but to keep on paying. How nice!

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Do not sign a contract. It is not industry standard and leaves the user at the mercy of Emma's software.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. Unfortunately, Emma's integration with Shopify is very faulty, which they did not disclose prior to having me sign a contract.

**Official Response from Katie Watts:**

It’s far from the customer experience we always strive to give. ### 39. Easy to use, yet some cons!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Emma is very accessible and easy to use. It has a well-designed UI and has easy-to-navigate templates.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Aside from the pros, I disliked how Emma was a bit expensive due to the monthly costs.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

I recommend others to switch to Emma if you want to reach contacts easily and have an easy to use UI as well.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am reaching a plethora of contacts, because the pro allows you to reach 10,000 contacts. It is extremely beneficial because it allows me to reach these contacts with ease.

  ### 40. Easy-to-use solution for email marketing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I didn't have a background in creating email campaigns from scratch and the Emma software was intuitive and easy to use. The learning curve was not very steep and the results were great.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I experienced difficulty sorting through imported lists of contacts. Some sort of sorting feature would make this so much easier.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Give it a shot. If you use Salesforce too, the platforms' integration could be a big benefit for you.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Emma made it easy to schedule marketing emails to various audiences so that I could tailor offers based on their history with us.

  ### 41. Its one of the most advanced plataform for the world of marketing.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I think this is one of the best soft and the option to create almost any rule that you can imagine in your app is awsome.

The upgraded tools promised a lot of things but unfortunately I found that the tools were not capable of effectively executing the processes and automation sequences that I needed.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

You can create awsome email campaigns with easy to use integrations. Emma was setup very intuitively and that is something we greatly appreciate.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think for nonprofits and small to mid-size businesses, Emma is the most intuitive email marketing platform around.

  ### 43. Game-Changer for our Email Marketing Strategy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon A. | Marketing Manager, Staffing and Recruiting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2017

**What do you like best about Emma?**

A/B testing, design help, and ability to see where people are clicking most on an email are just a few of the things Emma can do and it has stepped up our email marketing game tremendously. Their customer support is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We have worked with other platforms and never have ever spoken to a real person and day one of signing up we got to meet our entire team at Emma that will help us strategize and build out a successful year with email marketing - UNBELIEVABLE.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Can't group our emails since we work in separate divisions, but we also just started using Emma so we have a lot to learn as far as flow goes.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Best email marketing platform out there -- No question about it.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our email lists were not targeted enough so we were missing out on big opportunities to cater to our audience. Emma has completely solved this problem with their groups/segmenting and it's already helping us get more business.

  ### 44. Easy to use, professional quality email delivery at an affordable price.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Emma's list management is the best in the business.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Google Analytics integration could be a bit more intuitive.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Emma for sending HTML email newsletters to a higher education alumni population of 25,000. It is easy to create campaign in Emma, merge lists from our campus CRM with subscribe and unsubscribe lists in Emma, and track the success of our campaigns.

  ### 45. I love Emma!

Emma is the best email marketing tool, hands down. I suggest it to all of my clients.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Emma helps me see who is opening the emails and having a grade is very helpful.

  ### 46. Mass Email Campaigns

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I really enjoy how MyEmma allows you to design the campaign to match your brand. We also frequently utilize the data feature which tells us how many users opened the emails, clicked on specific links, and unsubscribed from the emails.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I wish it was easier to import email addresses.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize MyEmma to send out our monthly newsletters and other campaigns that are tied to our CRM.

  ### 47. Very hard to use

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

We are solving front end pipeline issues

  ### 48. Great way to contact stakeholders.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

The ability to coordinate mass communications and track the success of these outreach efforts.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Limitations on notifications internally.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Required mass outreach effforrs for programs.

  ### 49. Try it, but do not sign the contract.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

In the first month, I really enjoyed the customer training packages and hands on involvement of the team.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Emma requires an annual contract with a section that in essence says, if our software does not work properly on your site, not our problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Do not sign a contract. It is not industry standard and leaves the user at the mercy of Emma's software. Also, if there is a problem, expect a nasty interaction with the legal department, who will threaten you for contract breach. I found similar user experience on Emma forums.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass segmenting. Unfortunately, Emma's integration with Shopify is very faulty, which they did not disclose prior to having me sign a contract.

  ### 50. Emma Makes Sending Emails Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Emma?**

We switched to Emma from Constant Contact mostly because we could get a base level enterprise for the same cost we were paying Constant Contact with their extras. Emma has some nice additional features including in their base price like A/B testing & Salesforce integration. Creating a template from an email is easy and their drag and drop system is nice. The interface of Emma is very clean. The reporting is very nice visually. It's nice that you can create a template for a recurring email.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

The contact management section is clunky and could use some interface work. The form creation process is easy but the newer lightbox form does not work very well. There needs to be more customization for the templates. There are areas of a template that cannot be changed at all like header logo placement and colors of elements. Constant Contact is superior in this area.

**Recommendations to others considering Emma:**

Make sure you do a free trial. You need to get a feel for the platform. Especially if switching from another company.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple businesses in our company so being able to all use the same platform but have our areas and share assets is a nice addition. We haven't yet used the workflow or Salesforce integration but are looking forward to learning more about it.
