"Emma Makes Multi-Department Email Management Easy and Reliable at Scale"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Emma?

For an organization as large as ours, Emma has made it much easier to manage email communications across multiple departments. One of the biggest benefits is the ability to delegate responsibility while still maintaining overall governance and oversight. Different teams can manage their own audiences and campaigns without everything needing to funnel through a single office.

The platform is easy to navigate, and the audience management, email builder, and reporting tools have met our needs well. We also rely on integrations to streamline parts of our workflow and keep information synchronized between systems. Overall performance has been consistently reliable, even when we’re managing communications at scale.

From a value perspective, Emma has enabled us to support many departments with a relatively small central team, which makes it a worthwhile investment. Onboarding was straightforward, and support has been responsive whenever questions come up. I also appreciate that Emma continues to add new features and AI-powered capabilities, while actively improving the platform based on customer feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Emma?

There isn’t much I actively dislike about Emma, but there are a few areas where I’d like to see more flexibility. The biggest one for our organization is user permissions. Right now, permissions are assigned at the user level rather than by subaccount. It would be much more helpful if a single user could have different roles across different subaccounts—for example, acting as a manager in one area and an editor in another. For organizations with multiple departments and varied responsibilities, that kind of added granularity would make account administration significantly easier.

I also see opportunities to improve filtering and navigation in a few parts of the platform. For instance, on the Insights dashboard, it would be useful to have a “select all” option after filtering results by a keyword. On the user access screen, a “show selected” option that displays only the subaccounts a user can access would make permissions management more efficient, especially when you’re working with a large number of subaccounts.

That said, these are relatively minor concerns overall. Emma has generally worked well for us, and I appreciate that the support team is receptive to feedback and continues to improve the platform over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
