Colleague tracks students across all departments on our campus. It offers a consistent database to use with our various staff and faculty members to ensure we all rely on the same information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Ellucian Student? Until recently, Colleague relied on Microsoft Silverlight, which would not run on most browsers. The lack of accessibility was a major problem only resolved recently. Additionally, the shared permissions are frustratingly limited. Recommendations to others considering Ellucian Student: Form a working relationship with your system administrator. Colleague is difficult to learn on one's own, so this person will greatly ease your learning curve. Once you know the system, it becomes a much more enjoyable experience. Colleague allows my team to manage university housing in coordination with accounting and the cashier as well as gain a clearer picture of each student's academic wellness when concerns arise.
