"Fast, User-Friendly UI with Impressively Natural AI Voices"

What do you like best about ElevenLabs?

Overall, I like most of the features of ElevenLabs. It has a simple, clean, user-friendly UI that’s very easy to use, and new users can get integrated with it quickly. I also like its speed: when I type a prompt or enter text to convert into speech, it’s very fast. As soon as I hit the generate button, the model instantly creates a natural-sounding voice.

Another thing I like most is the AI voices. Most of the languages we know are present, with both male and female voices available. When it generates the voice, it doesn’t feel AI-generated at all—it sounds very natural. Anyone who doesn’t know it’s AI-generated would usually say it’s an actual voice.

I also like the free tier services offered. On the free tier, they offer around 10,000 credits, which is equal to 10,000 characters, and it gives access to most of the AI voice models. Other features like voice creation, music, image and video generator, and speech-to-text also work decently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?

Overall, everything is good, but sometimes when the text is complicated it makes mistakes. For example, with words that are too complex, it can’t pronounce them well and ends up making errors each time. Also, in the free tier, for some languages only a single gender voice is available. Like for Marathi, only a female voice is present and no male voice is available. I mentioned this to customer care/support, and they didn’t even reply to me. What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’m a student of Computer Science Engineering, and I’m currently working on a Python-based model that actually answers your questions like an AI bot. For that, I’m using ElevenLabs voices, and it’s performing well. Before this project, I also used it multiple times to create a text-to-speech feature for a virtual calling bot that takes product reviews through calls in the Marathi language, and it worked well there too.
