What do you like best about ElevenLabs?

To be honest the voice quality is insane. I have tried so many TTS tools out there and they always have that weird robotic pitch at the end of the sentences. ElevenLabs actually gets the emotion and pacing right. The voice cloning feature is also super impressive cause I cloned my own voice with just a few minutes of audio and it sounds exactly like me. Save me so much time when I need to do voiceovers but don't have my mic setup ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?

The pricing can sneak up on you if you are not careful. The character limits burns pretty fast when you are generating long script or audiobooks, and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries to get the exact inflection you want, which wastes characters also the UI is a bit basic sometimes and can glitch if you leave the tab open too long. What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?

I mostly use it to create POC demo voice content and to do quick dubs for my shorts. Before this, I either had to record everything myself, which took forever, especially when it came to editing out breaths and fixing mistakes. Now I just paste my script in, tweak the pacing a bit, and I have studio quality audio in about 10 seconds. It literally cuts my creation and final polish time by almost half.
