I love the variety of the topics, the organization of the content, and how the layout is so consistent between courses. EdX gives you the ability to learn about any topic and get a great baseline understanding of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the content of the course is not what I am looking for. The range of audiences on the platform is so wide that oftentimes I feel that the course is not for me. This happened with two courses I recently took on EdX, a child protection course, and a cryptocurrency course. Both courses had at least 60% or more information that was not relevant to me. I am glad that the audit option was available because I would not have liked to pay for those courses and then find out that they were created for someone else.
