I like Edsby's easy-to-understand interface and simple navigation. It helps with collecting information based on student grades and weightings and provides effective communication with parents. I also find it valuable for giving instant updates for grades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was an instant messaging system in Edsby, which would be ideal. It's also inconvenient that I can't input marks directly for individual students while viewing all their assessments. This feature would make it easier to update changed grades for them. Additionally, the initial setup of Edsby was somewhat tricky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks for your comments. Re: instant messaging. Edsby has a full fledged 1:1 messaging system built in. Did your school disable it? Some do, for teacher workload reasons or because they want users to use a different system. Re: not being able to input grades while viewing students' assessments: if you mean entering grades in report card sheets, there's a split screen view that displays all of the students' assessments in the class you're grading them in.
