"Efficient Onboarding with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Eddy?

I appreciate most about Eddy is its straightforward new-hire task checklist feature for our Austin consulting firm. We can assign onboarding tasks automatically once a candidate accepts an offer, so sales and admin new hires get their required workflows without constant manual follow-ups. Built-in document storage keeps I-9 paperwork organized. Task status updates are visible centrally, so we can spot unfinished items quickly. We moved over to Eddy from BambooHR because Eddy’s simpler onboarding workflow fit our priorities better. Setting up Eddy was fairly straightforward overall, and importing our existing employee roster went quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eddy?

We struggle with Eddy's lack of deep native Microsoft 365 Outlook sync, which means we cannot auto-pull employee email activity into onboarding records. Its audit-log retention window is short, and the exports aren’t formatted properly for our CCPA compliance reviews. We also wish it supported custom retention timers for personnel files, so we don't have to manually archive old new-hire packets for former consultants. Additionally, we’d like configurable retention timers to auto-archive or purge terminated-staff files according to CCPA record-keeping rules. Extended, searchable audit-log retention with structured CSV exports would save us from manual log-copying work. Native log forwarding to Splunk would also help us centralize personnel-event data, reducing the time spent assembling audit-ready evidence manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
