Very easy to handle and use; the responsive mode is great; possibility to easily customize your content; numerous templates that help in creating engaging content.

The necessity of having to register participants so they can access the courses, it would be wise to have the option to allow access to certain courses freely without registration and to operate with registration for others.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp allows me to create micro-learning capsules, unlike more traditional LMS. The ability to export in SCORM format to integrate the content elsewhere.

I like that I can upload my own images, logos, and graphics.
I can create on an online course or educational program with different sections.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

But I also think that the design needs a fresh up. I don't like the templates, which are mostly tech industry-related. There are no nice templates for the beauty, coaching/mindset/life, or personal development industry. Please update the template library ASAP also for such industries.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am creating workbooks for coaching and masterclasses and like to combine EdAPP with my services so that my clients can offer course certificates after going through a questionary/quiz.

  ### 17. Microlearning authoring on the fly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chee Ming L. | HR manager / internal consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The templates based authoring UX reduces the learning curve for any newcomer into the micro elearning field. I'm also very impressed with the acessibility of the customer success staff to troubleshoot and help new users.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Still a little buggy on the UI. Takes quite a bit to load and start different function thruout the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Thanks to the ease of authoring feature of Edapp, the platform allows HR members to collaborate and prototype content with business unit managers very quickly and easily. Traditionally, training content is solely the responsibility of HR, but Edapp allows business unit members to be part of this process, so in addition to creating a great learning experience, it also helped to build better relationship between HR and business division managers thru such collaboration.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Democratizes learning and teaching to all employees, allowing better partnership between HR and managers on-site to create the best learning experience for their staff.

  ### 18. Great course library and flexible content!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

No downsides yet. Just using the free version.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SImple to launch content to remote empoloyees.

  ### 19. Best customer support ever!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly N. | Instructional Designer, Leadership and Organization Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp from day one was doing things no one else was doing by combining authoring and micro-learning in an easy-to-use platform that anyone with any skill level could learn to use. It also includes gamification, collaboration, and the ever-evolving analytics section. It's the perfect tool for any instructor or instructional designer and was the one-stop-shop tool I had been looking for. But by far the best part of EdApp is the customer support. The ability to open a chat box and talk to a real human to get the support you need is invaluable and ensured that this was the tool I used above all others. They are also incredibly receptive to feedback and take suggestions seriously to keep evolving and iterating their product to meet the needs of customers.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Some alternative subscription options would be great. The minimum # of users for subscription versus just an annual or monthly subscription cost doesn't suit our needs. Additionally, there are still quite a few features that need development- more transparency on the features that are currrently in development or that are on the wishlist as well as a timeline of when new features will drop would be helpful for development purposes.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

EdApp lets you test it out for free so check it out and just reach out to EdApp with any of your questions- they are amazing and helpful.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp is changing the game for our delivery of eLearning. Some companies can be stuck with an outdated LMS that provides little data and or autonomy for users. EdApp overcomes this and allows users to learn on the go and take learning in bite size chunks. As millenials continue to grow as the dominant portion of the working force, these features will become the requirement and not the exception.

  ### 20. Great opportunities with EdApp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There are a lot of different tools to use for your e-learning course.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

At this moment I have found nothing that I didn't like.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More possibilities to make a good online course

  ### 21. Been instrumental in the development of our new training plan and has been ve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The content bundles and creation process is seamless, and the results are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

A minor fix would be to speed up the performance dashboard.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining our safety and general training process.

  ### 22. Exceptionally feature-packed app, A+ customer service, superior free tier. EdApp Rocks!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott D. | Senior Technical Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

With so many great features, EdApp makes it difficult to like anything "best." However, I have to give props to the course designer. EdApp's course designer is intuitive to use, despite its advanced capabilities. The designer comes with a large variety of templates. These templates aren't just for looks--although they look great--they are instructional tools that enable you to provide many different avenues of learning for the course taker. This thing is an instructional development powerhouse. And add to that, EdApp's course library is chock-full o' courses, lessons, and modules that I can brand and use as is, or completely customize as I need and publish as my own.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There's nothing I dislike in terms of functionality. The LMS part of the app has simple user management features at the free tier, where we are. This tier doesn't enable user groups. So all users see all courses, and the analytics are minimal. That said, the paid tier that allows user groups and useful analytics is well within reason. (~2USD per person/month as of this review).

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Take the time to get to know the app. Let the EdApp staff show you a demo and answer your questions (they do this at no cost). If you have a course developed on PowerPoint, let them turn it into a course for you. In other words, please take advantage of everything they offer so you can make an informed decision. The app, the staff, the current and future development, the company....just blew me away, and I don't impress easily. Companies don't create apps like EdApp and then provide a free tier this good. It just doesn't happen. Yet here it is.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upper management wants to track the acquisition and progress of specific skills by members of one department at my company in particular. We use a proprietary method of approaching and solving our customers' cybersecurity problems. With EdApp, I can create survey courses that teach and test our methodology. Then, I can design microlearning opportunities that instruct analysts in the specifics of each part of our methodology. Finally, I can track the progress of individuals and teams and identify analysts who need additional support or who need more challenging assignments.

  ### 23. Real Micro Learning for Digital UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerard N. | Digital Learning Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

This platform allows customized digitized learning for learners on the go, and accommodates the learning experience in ways that lengthens the learners content retention. I love that staff is available to assist with content design and allows the customer to design content with integration tools both inside and outside the platform.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

It doesn't provide a total provision of coding measures using its platform when a customer implements/designs course design. However, I anticipate that would be available for a much greater level of service that can be accommodated in one of the paid plans.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Great support staff (sales mostly that I have worked with) allows you to experience/develop within the platform for free so take advantage of it right away. I see this company setting the standard for mobile learning and get on board with them, quick! It's free until you have at least 24 users access within a month.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently using this for the new member onboarding process. This process allows members from various parts of the globe to learn about our organization without scheduling a face-to-face or video conferencing session.

  ### 24. EdApp Review for BioPharma applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve H. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The preset templates make creating content very easy. We will link youtube videos, or combinations of text and pictures for training. These are followed with short quizzes to test the user's knowledge on the topic.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

As we grew with the application, it does get a little complicated to fully define lessons versus courses and manage the content. Often we had training material that started as a lesson and later grew into a family of lessons on a specific topic (ie - a course). In theses cases we ended up relinking content to these courses. Also we had some issues where we wanted to reset a lesson to force our sales team to review the content multiple times. This seemed difficult to do.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a simple way to train our sales people during COVID when face-to-face was not viable. Also it provided a very good tool to help in on-boarding new people.

  ### 25. First step into app based learning for the Modern Milkman, really well supported by the EdApp team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alby S. | O, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Easy to use lesson designing interface, good integration of simple branding to make it look like our own, smooth user app

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Slow analytics website, inability to pull everything out in 1 big csv, auto push notifications would be really helpful

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Give it a go!

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bridging the gap between drivers being recruited and drivers arriving for their first night by providing uniform introductory training. Hopefully more and more of our training will be done through it in the future. Too early to see performance/retention benefits but engagement and feedback has been really positive so far

  ### 26. Great! An incredible app and easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The free version. Most company charge for a service like this forgetting about some organizational only want to teach good things to our communities

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Can ve a little tricky to create a curse

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way our students learn more about values and history. No only tatami techniques.

  ### 27. Very useful, easy to use, great customer service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fe M. | Curriculum Development Office, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The learner's app is easy to install and navigate. The LMS is easy to use; even non-techy people won't have problems using it. Customer service is also excellent!

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I hope to transfer/copy courses I made from one account to another without asking for assistance. Customer service is great, but I like to be able to do things on my own.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

If you are looking for an LMS that is easy to use, try EdApp. The free plan doesn't feel like it is; it combines the features of 2 or more apps.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp reduced the amount of time our trainers spent on admin work through the LMS. Less time was spent monitoring our trainees for free, which increased productivity; trainers could do more than just track their trainees' progress.

  ### 28. Easy to use - from a user and content developers perspective

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Very simple to use, engaging and fun app.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I would really like to be able to integrate this experience with an existing LMS, which seems challenging.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy fun gamification on a mobile device. Dummy proof.

  ### 29. A great end-to-end user experience, for training authors, trainees and managers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

- Easy onboarding of authors (after 30 min of explanations, users can start authoring trainings),
- User friendliness for trainees (no issues with our trainees, even those the non-digital natives)
- Good support from the EdApp team
- New features regularly added to the platform (classroom training management coming soon)

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

- User management needs to be improved (ongoing process) to be more in line with modern standards
- API should cover all main features (ongoping process)
- branching scenarios would be a great add-on
- Integrated analystics are much too slow and barely usable

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

EdApp has a fully functional free version that allows to perform small scale pilots. Just deep dive and you will be convinced. It is valuable for me when a software editor opens its software (nearly) completely to free users as there is nothing to hide. Integration with SSO was made in a couple of hours thanks to their excellent support team. They are always available when we need advice for the integration with new systems or for the use of their numerous features.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy creation of multi-platform micro-trainings and fast deployment on the field. Training effectiveness and user adoption is good. EdApp allows us to reduce the time-to-market of our process & product improvements vs classical classroom trainings.

  ### 30. A fantastic easy tool to create micro lessons

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saliha O. | Chargée de cours FLE & Français de l'agronomie, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The EducateAll program is sucha a great program. EdApp is easy to discover and the staff is very helpfull. They are very eager to help. We can find a wide range of templates to create our lessons.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Maybe it has changed recently, but it was impossible to adapt the lesson to learners, offer alternative routes/activities depending on the responses. The slides have an order you cannot change, pass to slide 12 from 10, for example.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I try to help newcomers in France, refugees or migrants, with their french and everyday life. On the other hand, I want to help people learn French wherever they are, in Africa, Asia or America. It is a learner-centered project, a collaborative bringing french speakers together.

  ### 31. Ed App is a convenient way to learn!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Convenient and easy to use like putting in an hour for learning after dinner to clear some syllabus compared to having to turn on a laptop to learn.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Too many courses lined up on the front page and i guess should have split courses into categories or folders.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning made easy and convenient.

  ### 32. A learning app at your fingertip

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tung H. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Students' activities are closely monitored, which assists me in evaluating and tracking their improvement.
I know when they log in and how much time they need for a lesson or an activity. I can then make necessary adjustments to the lesson.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The Rapid Refresh Quizzes do not allow modification and editing once started. This means every time I want to add or edit questions, students' progress would be lost.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use EdApp to provide materials for students prior to the class meetings. By recording myself along with the content, the students can study the lesson at their own pace, and the actual class meeting is dedicated entirely to practice.

  ### 33. Extremely satisfied by EdApp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saqib S. | Swiss International Academy & Quality Assurance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

User Friendly training materials, easy to use, and it helps you create new trainings that are more engaging and entertaining. It gives me great help as a trainer.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There's nothing much that I dislike, as it has been a great tool, it is great for connecting my team and training them for easy online, as due to COvid it was a challenge.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As currently we are facing huge challenges due to Covid, and can't gather a lot of people in one place, this helps us to engage trainees online and train them regularly.

  ### 34. Is okay, doesn't have option to make flashcards. Great for powerpoint type stuff.

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Different layout. Is super unique and user friendly.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Not like quizlet, which is why I used it.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/a. It didn't really help or solve any problems I have had.

  ### 35. Compelling Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Visual elegance of the content. Very easy to see, read and retain the information. Everything seems to be meticulously done by experienced subject matter experts.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I like most everything. The closest to a dislike is that it is not more prevalent, especially in the trades, where there is a severe shortage of educated and capable service providers.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We haven't gone very far with utilization, but here are the expected problem solutions: 1) Just in time refresher training for organizational standards and policies, to supplement what is delivered during new employee orientation and formal training programs. 2) Tool, equipment and/or scope of work specific instructions for service technicians who work in numerous customer locations on varied tasks and services. 3) Delivery of educational content to a fast growing organization and developing businesses. 4) creating a culture of being a learning organization.

  ### 36. EdApp easy to use LMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I found EdApp because I was looking for a replacement cyber security training course. Now, EdApp is our learning management system. EdApp has a number of pre-built courses that you can edit and a feature where you can create your own courses. We have turned a few of our old PowerPoint training into courses. Our employees like that it is mirco-learning so they can start and stop the course through the week. There are a number of reports that help me keep track of the courses that have been completed, etc.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Overall, EdApp meets our needs. I am not sure there is much we would change about this solution. It is simple to use, very easy to implement and has all of the features we need.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have moved all of our PowerPoint trainings to EdApp. This has given back time to both the trainers and employees. It has also helped us track our training completion and compliance. Lastly, we have been able to do simple quick checks to ensure our learners have retained the information.

  ### 37. We are at the beginning of our journey with EdApp, but my experience so far has been great!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aiyana W. | Assistant to Executive Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The Admin portal is very user friendly and I feel like I have support in case questions arise.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

We just signed up to use EdApp so we are just getting started. There is nothing I dislike so far.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training employees and sharing information easily, while being able to track learning progress. We will also be using the QR feature to aid in training on our clinic equipment.

  ### 38. Great Tool and Mobile Ready LMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | Family Assistant , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EDApp is a great micro learning delivery. It is easy to author courses and includes some gamification, and engaging interactions. I look forward to the new tracking features being introduced.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Sometimes the swiping feature is not intuitive. I'd love a few extra customization options and the ability to add more CSS for customization as well as a few more slide template options. Keep it up!

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Great for micro learning and quick post training recall exercises.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EDApp allows for 5-15 minutes lessons (bite-sized) for learners to engage in 4 days per week. The discussion feature allows learners to be connected.

  ### 39. Easy to learn, affordable, great tech, great service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Birthe N. | Director & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Everything! The tech is very, very easy to learn, it has fantastic microlearning slides and templates, it has excellent reporting tools, easy setup, no upfront costs and helpful, personal service if you get stuck—a real gem in the EdTech Space. The low fee makes a feasible solution for small companies.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Nothing about the product. A "nice to have" would be the ability to white lable.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Solid and safe company to choose. no risk and only gain. A potent tool and a company with a great mission, too.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a corporate training provider and have built a blended learning experience course using Edapp like a habit learning app.

  ### 40. Easy-to-use mobile-friendly learning platform for the modern learning organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allessandria P. | CEO/Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I am almost hesitant to share my review of EdApp because the platform is so amazingly easy to use and makes me look like a talented genius. The templates make course development a breeze, the look is elegantly simple, and the platform is incredibly simple to use.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I would love to have a self-scoring feature so I can have learners self-assess and receive their results. I would also like to be able to completely shut-off some of the gaming features in some of the templates.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a learning hub for all participants that is easy to use. People LOVE this app!

  ### 41. Great platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire L. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Friendly and instant support. It's amazing what EdApp can offer, even for the free account.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Not easy to edit the font size, colour..... etc. It can be more intuitional, for example: like how you edit the text in an email.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Strong support from EdApp. You can try the free account without any time limit and upgrade to the paid subscription in your own pace.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use EdApp to build internal product training, it's very helpful to cut down the labour cost and it's easy to monitor the progress of each members.

  ### 42. OUTSTANDING E-LEARNING PLATFORM! EASY TO USE! RESPONSIVE AND FRIENDLY SUPPORT! AFFORDABLE!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendy C. | P, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Researched several e-learning platforms... EdApp is by far, the easiest to use and most affordable for our non-profit.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There are times when the system gets hung up. However, simply going out and back in again, it's ready to roll.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Highly recommend it for those new to e-learning platforms. Was a little nervous getting started, however the support staff was quick to respond and a tremendous help!

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are evolving our in-person training to self-paced and online. EdApp gives our families easier accessibility and freedom to complete when they have time.

  ### 43. EdApp is awesome.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ADOGBEJI A. | Training Manager

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The EdApp team. I was amazed at the course they put together with the material I sent. The fact that one can access most of the features for free is incredible.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

For video lessons, it would have been nice if users(learners) could resume off from where they stopped previously.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Other than our formal business training, which I can not bring to EdApp, there are some soft skills I would like to equip our employees with, and EdApp has helped me in achieving that.

  ### 44. Pedagogically Powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prof. Craig B. | Blended Learning Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Quite simply, this is one of the few tools I have come across that embraces active pedagogies. Arising from my PhD work in online teaching is a framework of active digital-age pedagogies - Activated Classroom Teaching (ACT) approach. These pedagogies, when applied, transform online teaching. However, most tools require some work to apply these pedagogies effectively as they are not core to how they were designed. Typically tools are designed around content dissemination and passive content consumption. However, most of the ACT pedagogies are inherent within EdApp resulting in a pedagogically powerful tool for course design

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Nothing in particular - I believe there are ways it can be improved to be even more powerful and embrace more of the ACT pedagogies, but as it stands it is in a class of its own.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Think pedagogically and actively - not traditionally and passively and you will design an amazing course.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp allows for an efficient and effective way to engage students in learning. It has provided me with a whole new channel, using mobile devices, to engage students in active learning.

  ### 45. Great Fun LMS!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davidssun M. | Chef de Cuisine, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Edapp is easy to use and comes with many great tools, games, and many different options to create content for learning. The fact that it's phone-based makes the flow of what you are creating make sense. It allows for a multitude of different options to make the user interact well. Photos are easy to upload, and the games!! So many different choices for you to keep learners interest. It also has an excellent option for creating "Assissgments" and allows you to be able to focus on you're learners and their needs. Also, if help is needed, the staff are very quick to respond, and the instructions provided on the site are easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

So far, not many! Sometimes you have to resize photos you try to upload as they are too large, but this isn't a significant issue. I can't say I have found many problems or things I haven't liked about the LMS. I'm about to trail it out and go live but I think it's pretty damn good so far!!

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I randomly found EdApp while looking for an LMS for my schooling as I had to create an online learning tool and use it on students. I choose it as it sounded different and it's turned out to be really good.

  ### 46. Amazing support from EdApp staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is very intuitive. Some of our team have limited experience with designing online learning and have still been able to make something that looks great and is well-received by our learners. There are lots of available features and templates, and lots of great examples to review when designing your own courses.
But more importantly for us - the support from the EdApp team has been well above what we could have ever imagined. There are the instant responses from the knowledgeable and friendly staff in the Help/Chat bubble. There is the ability to virtually meet with EdApp staff (who actually have the relevant knowledge to discuss our requirements) and chat about solutions for any issues that come up. There is access to webinars that improve our understanding of the platform as content authors and online learning in general. Overall we honestly cannot fault the service and support provided by the EdApp team.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

We've honestly yet to come across anything we dislike. EdApp is constantly looking at ways to improve and introducing new features - conveniently just as we realise these are things we might like to have ;)

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We really needed an online learning platform on which to set up an online version of an existing face-to-face education program. EdApp has been the perfect solution for us, and we're now looking at ways that we can incorporate EdApp into other programs we deliver.

  ### 47. Great product, great team, exceptional customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil W. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is an excellent authoring tool. It's intuitive - whether you're authoring, driving engagement campaings or drilling down into analytics the product has a solution for everything.

Aside from the product itself, EdApp has a fantastic team. Everyone I've spoken with is helpful and great to work with. Lucy Brooking the lead Customer Success Manager in the EMEA region is brilliant at what she does, and a warm likeable person to boot.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The dynamic nature of the authoring is very good, but could continue to evolve.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling punchy micro learning which helps to drive habit change in my learning solutions.

  ### 48. The best app for making orientations interactive!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Candice S. | Volunteer Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I love the number of different activities that can be included, from fill in the blank to drag and drop infographics.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I wish it was easier to create multiple modules at the same time, building off of previous trainings. I do a lot of copy and paste and worry about losing the original training created, which I also need.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to make orientation virtual without using Zoom and I needed it to be more than just reading a manual. I've realized that EdApp can make it like a game and also allows me to see feedback as well as trainee performance on key concepts of our organization through this training.

  ### 49. Outstanding experience all round with EdApp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kay M. | Training Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Everything! Since day one using EdApp, we've found it amazing. Their microlearning courses are excellent: full of stellar quality engaging content, aesthetically pleasing, and perfect for our needs in training young adults with a limited attention span. It doesn't take long at all to either set up your own branded course from scratch using their templates or take advantage of their existing course library to get you off the ground. It's highly intuitive to use and easily tweaked and branded to match your requirements.

Jess Vaughan, their Customer Activation Specialist, deserves high praise for her limitless patience, knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism. I've had one-to-one training with Jess more than once: she always made me feel more confident about getting the most out of EdApp. Jess listens closely to what your goals are and tailors her guidance to your specific needs.

We trialled the Pro Plan for a whole month to ensure this was for us, and we cannot fault it. I doubt anyone else could beat EdApp from both the learner and admin perspectives. The analytics are highly beneficial for tracking learners' progress and the reporting side has also exceeded expectations.

What makes EdApp and their team stand head and shoulders above the rest is the numerous ways they offer support. Whether it's webinars, live chat, one-to-one video calls, emails, or the comprehensive online help center, you always get a quick response and come away feeling well looked after. After spending weeks looking for the right platform, we're so glad we found EdApp and are huge fans.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

So far, we haven't found anything to dislike or that's lacking.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping learners engaged with training content they can easily pick up wherever they left off.

The microlearning format of bite-sized lessons saves time as they can do it anywhere with it being mobile-first: there's no need to gather people in a training room and arrange for a half-day or day out of the office or get everyone on a Zoom call.

Easy to update with immediate revisions, no wasted paper, and training that's simple to squeeze into a working day or even en route.

If an urgent training need arises, you can create a new lesson or course quickly to address it and disseminate it rapidly.

One of my favourite things is you can send push notifications by text to give learners a nudge to complete their coursework if necessary or inform them of new content.

Being able to incorporate games, earn stars and even have prize draws if you wish keeps it all fun too.

  ### 50. The future is not static, is dynamic. So is Edapp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Júlio Mota C. | Senior Global Sales Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The learning curve is very short. It is very friendly for developers as for users.
You don't need to be a content designer specialist to create any content with games, video, quizzes, etc. you name it.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The fact that the servers are not located in EU.
But it can handled as we did.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales training is becoming mobile with micro learning techniques which has been included in a blended approach that Edapp allows.
