It's super easy for me to upload products and make the store live within just a few moments. I appreciate that I can make any changes by myself without needing a separate developer. This ease of use is a big plus for me. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** Regarding the improvements, there are very, very less plug-ins on Ecwid when I compare it to similar platforms like WooCommerce or Shopify. The integrations are limited. If it can be improved, it will be of great help. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ecwid helps me scale my ecommerce business by letting customers browse all products directly, eliminating Instagram's manual order limits. It's easy to use, allowing me to manage product uploads and store changes without needing a developer. ### 2. There's always new things being developed and lots of new additional tools. I also appreciate the great degree of flexibility in the way you can modify and adjust your store. They're setting up new commercial friendly tools, so you can very quickly and easily set up your own store, and it includes a website, making the entire process of ecommerce much simpler. The pricing is great, and it's very quick and adaptable. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** The shipping integrations were not amazing. I had to rebuild my own because it doesn't tailor to international ones. So I had to build my own shipping logic and methods. Likewise, trying to pair that together with the individual items was quite difficult. I had to build essentially my own custom solution. It was quite difficult because we needed to make some modifications to what we wanted to achieve, and the API wasn't fully robust. So there's quite a lot of back support between Ecwid Support and ourselves. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Ecwid for centralizing payment and shipping terms, utilizing developer tools and APIs, making ecommerce simpler with continuous updates, and setting up my store quickly with flexibility. ### 3. Before ecwid was acquired by light by Lightspeed Commerce the subscription prices were fair and you got more for your money. That's what I love most about this website. I canceled my godaddy account and made this website my business home for my brand. I started off with a free account then upgraded to venture where I could expand my brand with up to 100 products I could sell to my customers. Also with a lot of options for marketing and connecting your facebook and instagram shop and more. All of that is on one platform so it is very convenient for me to be able to manage everything I need to promote and sell my products even faster because of the advantage this site gives you as an entrepreneur. Customer support is very friendly and they are very prompt when asking your questions and getting your matter and issues resolve as quickly as possible. On my days off from work I am checking my website for updates and when I am not I get emails from Ecwid about how my store is doing and any tips to help me to promote my store. The integration from facebook and instagram setup was a good start to getting more viewers to my site as well as pinterest. Thanks Ecwid for the amazing features and making being a seller easier. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** It is no disadvantage to setting up a store on this website because it is so easy to do. Best of all, Ecwid has a definite growth mindset; they are always listening to our feedback and implementing suggestions on how to better improve the operational side of things with new features and key updates. Great customer support Very good value for more **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** The biggest downsides are: - slow loading speed of the shop page (its definitely not my issue, its Ecwid weak point confirmed by many in the industry) - if not properly integrated into your site, Ecwid product pages won't be indexed via search engine crawlers. If you do proper integration with Wordpress (for example) that should not be an issue - lack of choices of additional apps comparing to Shopify (no klaviyo, very basic gift card and cross sell) So in general, if you are starting out Ecwid is fantastic platform! Once you start growing to million dollars level of revenue its probably time to switch to something more solid **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** Adding e-commerce functionality to existing website, its just so good for that! ### 10. I'm not a "techy" person and it was easy to set up my online store. They have so many things you can integrate in your site. They have third party apps that you can or remove for low monthly fees depending on the app. You can customize a lot of things without being techy. You can add extra pages. It's for someone who wants to quickly get up and running with their store without a lot of extra "fluff". THe customer service is amazing! The app runs so smooth and is easy to maneuver. They have tutorial videos on YoutTube, they have very useful articles. They even have a free version if you just want the basics! I am a small business owner and first time online shop owner and they have made things very smooth for me. They also listen to customerfeedback. Many people requested the ability to add pages (me included) and 2 months after my request, I get a follow up that the feature has been enabled!! I was so happy! I use it every single day (multiple times a day sometimes) and it regularly gives me reports, it's easy to process orders and communicate with your customers. I'm really enjoying my time with ECWID and I see myself sticking around for a long time. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** The only downside is that trying to do any kind of very specific customization for your site is going to be very costly but that's why they offer the 3rd party apps and they are working to see how they can improve. I also think that if you get a site/online shop with ECWID, it's not right for someone who wants to customize every little thing. It's for someone who is okay to use the customizations already built in with some flexibility. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** Online shop, credible website, affordable, flexible, great customer service, efficiency.
