I like that Eagle Eye Networks is camera agnostic, allowing for seamless integration with both legacy analog cameras via a bridge managed switch and new IP cameras without needing a full hardware refresh. The centralized multisite cloud management is great for managing users, viewing live feeds, and retrieving historical footage from one web browser or mobile app, without needing local NVR maintenance. The flexible retention options let me configure different retention periods per camera, which helps optimize cloud storage costs. I also appreciate the AI smart video search and the smooth experience of cloud centralization, including granular retention and bandwidth controls. I find Eagle Eye Networks to be a bit challenging due to its bandwidth dependency, especially in areas with limited upload speeds which can lead to latency issues or require intensive tuning of the bandwidth allocation settings. Additionally, the interface feels cluttered which can make navigation less intuitive. The subscription costs are also on the higher side, making it a consideration when scaling quickly.
