  ### 1. Effortless Travel Planning with Simple UI

**What do you like best about e-days?**

I appreciate how e-days makes it easy to plan my travel, as it links nicely with our reception team's booking system and allows smooth international and national travel. I like the ease of using it and the view of my team's absences. I also find the simple UI beneficial, especially compared to other unnecessarily complex systems. The team view is really helpful for knowing where my team is, given that we all travel a lot for work. The initial setup was super easy, taking maybe just 10 minutes to get used to, and then it was all good.

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

I don't like that instead of blocking out just mornings and afternoons, it would be good to be able to make bookings for specific times.

**What problems is e-days solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find e-days makes it easy to plan my travel and links well with our reception team's booking system for smooth travel. I like its simple UI and the view of my team's absences, especially as we travel a lot for work.

**What do you like best about e-days?**

Easy to use.  Easy Access. Especially since the upgrades.  I have been using this for many years now and it has definitely improved over the years.  The carry forward from year to year works well. The buying and selling of holidays at the beginning of each year is easy to administer. There has never been any performance issues.  Managers use it well and can now delegate when necessary.  Easy to add new users and set up new rotas.

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

There are no downsides to using E-Days.  However, we now need to keep up to 6 years of annual leave records for HMRC purposes.  So this is something we need to look into.

**What problems is e-days solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any team can look at holidays before booking to check for other team members are already booked in.  Lieu days do not always show for other people.  Perhaps this is something in the settings which we need to address.

  ### 3. Easy calendar views, Outlook integration, and time-saving automations

**What do you like best about e-days?**

It’s really easy to see who’s away (or about to be) using the calendar views, and it also links with Outlook, which was important for us. The workflow automations have saved us a lot of time when managing leave requests—we even use it to reserve car parking spaces at the office. Our project manager, Niall, was great, and the webinars are super helpful for keeping us aligned with best practice.

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

You can make lots of reports but not dashboards, so we generally export the data into excel for visuals

**What problems is e-days solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were managing leave in excel, which was a big headache, but now we've set up rules that can automatically approve/reject requests. Its saved a good few hours a week

**What do you like best about e-days?**

The whole webpage is very intuitive, I like how it shows all year on one page. It is quick and responsive and integrates well with my employer's calendar. I cannot comment on pricing as my employer pays for it but it was straightforward  to be on boarded. I do not use any AI/Intelligence  features, I like that they are not "in my face".

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

I would like to have an option to view my employer's holiday policy easily with a help button perhaps.

Helping me manage my holiday booking.

**What do you like best about e-days?**

We appreciate the flexibility to create location- or country-specific settings within the system. It is very easy to configure and adapt local leave policy regulations, which greatly supports compliance across different regions.

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

One limitation we’ve encountered is the inability to pull data from our HRIS when the Organizational Unit (OU) has the same name but a different OU ID. This creates challenges in syncing and mapping data.

**What problems is e-days solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One key problem that eDays helps us address is managing country-specific requirements. As our organization operates across multiple countries, the ability to configure country-specific settings is extremely valuable and supports us in ensuring compliance with local regulations.

**What do you like best about e-days?**

I really like using e-days as our central hub for managing staff leave and absence. It's the go-to platform for booking annual leave, logging sickness, and keeping track of overtime, which helps eliminate the chaos of manual tracking. The visual team calendar is a standout feature for me because it's incredibly intuitive with its color-coded layout that gives me a clear snapshot of who is in and who's off. I find the reporting capabilities powerful, especially for generating reports on sickness and the Bradford Factor, which has been a game changer for our HR strategies. Additionally, the setup was really smooth thanks to the hands-on approach of the implementation team, and I appreciate how well it integrates with our existing tech stack to make life easier.

e-days solved our manual tracking chaos and eliminated confusion around leave balances. I love the visual team calendar and powerful reporting capabilities.

The team calendar to see when my team are in, it's easy to use and has good visibility, particularly as it links easily to my outlook calendar for quick access

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

I can't see everyones absences, when I need to know whether someone from a different department is off, I'm not sure how to see this as I can only see my own team

**What problems is e-days solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier management of staff absence which gives more visibility to teams

Initially, it was cheap and seemed appropriate for the size of our business at that time.

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

The functionality is clunky and requires a lot of training and support. They also tend to update their terms and conditions unilaterally so be careful to read every email and link they send you. They start with flexible terms and then amend via email hoping that the client missing the link or email

**What problems is e-days solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It should resolve HR issues but their commercials defeat that benefit.

**What do you like best about e-days?**

edays has transformed our absence management process. It makes registering absences and storing absence records simple and easy. There are also great reporting features. The help desk is also very good with any support issues. It is very user friendly and the mobile app is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about e-days?**

I don't think there are any reasons to dislike edays.

**What problems is e-days solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes our processes much quicker and easier in relation to absence. It is cost effective and reduces time and paper cost. It gives full company visibility and ensures our reporting of absences is accurate.
