They can add comments directly to the site. But when you are the developer trying to make the changes from the comments there is no real easy way to see comments and make edits. The platform is generally intuitive and makes it easy to find where to change things. It’s also very straightforward to upload custom fonts and images, and to make your website adapt to different devices. Connecting Google Tag and Google Ads is simple as well, thanks to the built-in pixel integration. Customer support is excellent once you get in touch with a real person — replies are quick, clear, and helpful, and issues are usually resolved efficiently. After creating a simple website with a contact form, I ran an in-depth accessibility check. I was pleased to see that very few issues came up. The only significant problem was that the contact form wasn’t keyboard accessible. After contacting Duda, they advised using an external plugin as a solution. **What do you dislike about Duda?** Text editing can be frustrating. When replacing text, the font style, size, and color often change unexpectedly, even when the text is clearly set to “Heading 2.” This slows down the editing process and requires manual reformatting. The chatbot experience is poor — it repeatedly asks you to log in, even after you have done so, and then only offers two clickable responses: “never mind” and “couldn’t log in.” It doesn’t register that you are logged in, which leaves you stuck in a loop. The range of integrations is great and has saved us lots of time compared to doing a custom site. Overall, I'd reccommend it as a great option for a small team that has some design bandwidth but engineers too busy to work on a custom marketing site. The support has also been very responsive and worked with us to solve a number of problems we ran into. **What do you dislike about Duda?** We thought the auto-translation would save us so mcuh time across the languages we need to accomodate, but we've realized that we ended up needing to go through each page anyways to account for bad translations, and design aspects that get broken when the words/paragraphs vary (such as buttons with much longer words when translated to German). This almost defeated the purpose for us, given we have to update copy in many places across the languages we've added. In addition to this, it can sometimes be very difficult to achieve specific designs we've planned for. Sometimes, we incorporate very unnatural workarounds to achieve the designs we created in Figma. You just have to pay very close attention to some of the deeper settings in the bullder to make sure everything comes out propperly on the device end. When we create a site with duda, and hit publish, that's it, the site works and has no problems in the future. We especially like the way we can share backend access with the clients and they can comment and review design choices in the builder and recieve feedback from us on specific topics. There's a great selection of pre-built sections to help flesh out websites quickly, and being able to globally set colours and fonts is a real time saver. At points where clients have asked for features not available, I've dabbled with the widget builder and created completely new elements which is great as well. Really happy with the service. **What do you dislike about Duda?** There's only a few niggles, for me, one is how responsive design is handled. Desktop and Tablet share the same rules, and mobile is almost like a separate site. This can make it challenging to get consistent designs sometimes. Also, the ablility to include custom code is good, but could be better. The documentation is great for someone who knows nothing about building websites, but when it comes to real developers, the documentation gets a little thin. The Widget builder feature seems really useful, but at the same time, theres only limited resources on how to get the most out of it. For one, the lack of a detailed activity log makes reviewing site updates tedious. Another being the API calls aren't fully exposed, and we'd prefer to be alerted when calls to our webhooks have failed. There also seems to be an image rotation issue when uploading via the API, where specific EXIF data is disregarded, resulting in sideways images. Finally, the ability to maintain site individuality while creating sites en-masse by generating content through AI and still allowing users to edit simply through UI. The use of collections and content injections can create sites quickly but make it difficult for the average-Joe user to figure out how to make changes. I like the simplicity of the platform and the ability to add plugins, customize most of anything and make beautiful responsive sites. **What do you dislike about Duda?** There seem to be some missing features and plugin-type features...the likes of which are easily integrated into Wordpress sites. But the simplicity of the Duda platform outweighs that. Figuring things out sometimes takes longer than I wish it would... **Recommendations to others considering Duda:** We love Duda and highly recommend it for almost any creative environment. **What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem is getting working, workable websites into our clients hands in days, not weeks.
