## DSP Reviews
 ### 1. A Balanced Perspective on SQL Server Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wagner V. | Analista de Inteligência Operacional Sênior, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about DSP?**

What I appreciate most about SQL Server Support is the efficiency and expertise of the team. They provide quick responses and accurate solutions to the issues I face, ensuring effective resolution. Additionally, the availability of technical support is crucial, providing peace of mind knowing that I can rely on assistance at any time of need.

**What do you dislike about DSP?**

One thing I don't like about SQL Server Support is the occasional delay in getting answers to more complex issues. In critical situations, prompt issue resolution is crucial, and when the response is delayed, it can have negative impacts on operations. Additionally, there are times when the guidance provided is not as clear, requiring extra effort to understand and implement the proposed solutions.

**Recommendations to others considering DSP:**

Assess your needs: Before selecting a support plan, carefully assess the specific requirements of your database environment. Ensure that the chosen plan addresses the key challenges of your system.

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SQL Server Support is addressing several critical issues, such as optimizing slow queries, resolving transaction locks, managing backups and restores, and providing technical support in cases of unexpected failures. These solutions have significantly benefited my database environment by improving overall system performance, ensuring greater availability, and assisting in preventive maintenance.

 ### 2. It's a well trusted service with lots of knowledgeable providers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Hernani C. | Co-Founder & CTO, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about DSP?**

I like that I can access to deep expertise, a broad portfolio of services, and globally experienced partners, probably the best there is.

**What do you dislike about DSP?**

Finding the right partner can be a bit tricky, as there are many different partners to choose from with varying levels of expertise and experience, which is not a bad thing after all.

**Recommendations to others considering DSP:**

Overall, it's an excellent resource for businesses looking to get the most out of their Cloud technology and investment. The service provides access to best-in-class deep expertise, a broad portfolio of services, and global reach.

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great network of experienced and knowledgeable partners who have deep expertise in Google Cloud tech and can help with tailored solutions for, I would say any type of business needs. The network provides an easy way of finding the right partner for a given need.

 ### 3. Stable Cloud Service Provider

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanker R. | Chief Information Security Officer & Head Business Continuity, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2023

**What do you like best about DSP?**

Stable platform, cloud console is user friendly. In depth Security features. Works well with oracle databases and oracle apps including their finance and HRMS. Easy to deploy and licensing policy is also good. Not seen any downtime of the platform and uptime is better than azure and aws

**What do you dislike about DSP?**

Skills shortage for staff on cloud platform as compared to azure and aws. Integration with out of box industry standard applications needs enhancements where aws and azure have more options. Billing information section needs slight improvement. Also partner ecosystem need to be enhanced

**Recommendations to others considering DSP:**

Must consider if using oracle apps or database. Best for non microsoft operation system if wanted fo host in cloud environment

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using oracle expense application (oracle financials) for entire IIFL group and earlier it was hosted on premise and we had issues with the performance of the application and other infra related challenges. Hence it was decided to move fhe oracle application and database to Oracle cloud. So far we have not had any issues and cloud platform is very stable and have not seen infra related issues

 ### 4. Azure support keeps our infrastructure backed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sally C. | Director of Technology & Data Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about DSP?**

Azure is most compliated and dangerous if you know too much but are not in the cloud support space. Their teams support provides a level of understanding that I dont have to pretend to have.

**What do you dislike about DSP?**

Azure is complicated and also vital to business thus putting all our chickens with their cloud support is risky, and we dont like risk. However, they are transparent and fast thus also work well with our agile business model.

**Recommendations to others considering DSP:**

If you host anything in Azure you will not be able to live without their cloud support and knowing they are there is reason to switch to Azure if you have not already.

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud support offers peace of mind. Azure runs everything and thus peace of mind in good support that is available remotely is paramount. Internally and via our IT consultants Azure cloud support maintains a level of understanding.

**What do you dislike about DSP?**

Oracle Cloud is not so popular beacuse it is having lesser number of reosurces/services as compared to competitors and also not easily available for college grads.

**Recommendations to others considering DSP:**

If you want to use OCI for your services in which you just need Infrastructure like VM, sql and networking, then it can be handy as it gives a better latency than others.

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about DSP?**

Google Cloud Partner (DSP) had the expertise and knowledge to help our migration go smoothly and quickly. They were able to recommend how best to set up the databases and architecture in the new environment

**What do you dislike about DSP?**

DSP was pricey. However, I do not think they were more expensive than competitors, and they provided great value for the cost.

**Recommendations to others considering DSP:**

Do your due diligence and consider all the options out there. While DSP worked best for us, it really is a decision that is organization-specific. You need to evaluate your company's weak areas and determine whether DSP would help with supporting.

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DSP helped us to set up an architecture and data structure for building out our Google Cloud implementation. We were moving from an Oracle backend and needed help with the migration

It is easy, flexible and available with multiple useful features. But make sure it has a good return on investment considering the cost.

Nothing! We have had no issues with them and we use them continuously. The price is right so no complaints there. All of our employees seem to be satisfied with them so I can't say I dislike any aspect

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a very helpful support tool. Any time we have questions they are there to walk us through it and make it a seamless process with no worry or doubt. Our employees can all use it quite easily

 ### 10. A short review of Azure cloud support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about DSP?**

Azure cloud support provides support to any kind of issues related to the services provided by azure.
They provide 24/7 support but it depends of the plan which you have subscribed.
If you have premium support plan subscription then the resonsonse time is way faster & resolution is also fast.

**What do you dislike about DSP?**

The subscription plans are costly which is a blocker for the small organizations to afford the Azure support service.
For the basic plan it does not have any direct support, the user have to use the forum community, or the document provided in response to the query.
In a case of urgency the slow response time of the support can be a loss for someone.

**What problems is DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The azure cloud support is providing assistance to the Azure customers at free of cost for the basic support. It also have forums which helps the customers/ users to connect and find their query answers and support from community.
