I like that Dropbox is a standalone cloud storage solution that offers many of the same features as major competitors. Because it's a focused solution, it's also able to provide other features that the competition does not, like the ability to request files. It offers many ways to access the platform including web, mobile apps, desktop application, and so on, making it easy to use. Similarly, it's popular enough to be offered as a common integration option with several 3rd party platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, I don't use Dropbox as often as I did in the past and so I limit myself to the free plan I have. I would have to make a strategic decision if I were to upgrade to a paid plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Dropbox is how seamlessly it fits into my workflow without demanding attention. It’s clean, intuitive, and reliable - everything just lives where it should, exactly when I need it. I can move between devices, share large files instantly, and collaborate without worrying about versions getting lost or links expiring at the wrong moment.
As someone who works with images, decks, and creative submissions, I appreciate how organized and professional it feels. Sharing folders with clients or collaborators is effortless, and the interface stays out of the way so the focus stays on the work itself. Dropbox feels less like a tool I have to manage and more like a quiet backbone that keeps everything running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Dropbox is that, despite how polished it is, it can sometimes feel more complicated than necessary. Features I don’t use are pushed forward, while simpler actions-like managing storage or finding specific settings—can take extra clicks. The platform occasionally prioritizes upsells and add-ons, which breaks the otherwise clean, streamlined experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find it fascinating to be able to keep my files synchronized, as this way I avoid losing information in case of damage or loss. Having a backup of my data in a simple and accessible way is really useful. Although the initial space is a bit limited, I managed to expand it to 18 GB, which surpasses several other platforms. When sharing files via a link, sometimes it is required to log in with an account, whereas before it was not necessary to be a user to download the shared file. On the other hand, the available space when registering as a basic user is quite limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about Dropbox is how seamlessly it integrates into my daily routine. It’s like having a quiet assistant who’s always a step ahead-saving my files, syncing everything across my devices, and making sure my work is right where I left it. I can begin a project on my laptop, pick it up on my phone, and finish it on another device without any hassle. Sharing files is just as easy; with a single link, I’m done. Dropbox transforms the chaos of digital life into something simple, organized, and stress-free, which is exactly why I continue to rely on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There’s not much to complain about, but I do wish the free storage was a bit more generous. Occasionally, there are some sync delays, which can slow things down slightly. These aren’t major issues, just minor areas where there’s room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how reliable and easy Dropbox is for storing and organizing files across multiple projects. The ability to access everything from any device makes it incredibly helpful for busy workdays, especially when collaborating with teams. Shared folders, automatic syncing, and clean organization tools make file management simple and efficient. It saves a ton of time and helps keep all of my client and content files in one secure, easy-to-navigate place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times, Dropbox can feel a bit slow when syncing very large files, and the storage limits can be restrictive unless you upgrade. Occasionally, shared links can get confusing for collaborators who aren’t familiar with the platform. It would also be helpful if the file preview function supported more formats or loaded faster. Overall, these are minor issues compared to the convenience it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dropbox is extremely easy to use and reliable for storing and organizing files. I really like how much storage is available and how seamless it is to share photos or documents with others. The syncing works smoothly across devices, and the file-sharing features make collaboration simple without any technical hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There’s honestly very little to dislike. If anything, the pricing for higher storage plans could be slightly more flexible, but overall the features, ease of use, and reliability easily outweigh this. I’ve had a very positive experience using Dropbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The file syncing across devices is seamless. Its straightforward interface, along with robust sharing and permission controls, allows teams to collaborate easily and without confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the more advanced features are restricted to higher-tier plans, which may be limiting for smaller teams. In addition, the web interface occasionally feels sluggish when working with large files or folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
