What do you like best about Dropbox?

We've used Dropbox for years and have come to rely on it. The ability to offload gigabytes of data to the cloud rather than filling up local hard drives is convenient and secure. You can access this data in a number of convenient ways including the application client (which integrates with your operating system's folder structure), mobile apps, and the web interface.

One of the most powerful features of Dropbox, though, is its integration with countless services, applications, and tools. For example, we can sync data and settings for many programs we use on a daily basis. The data for those applications is synced up to the cloud and pushed down to mobile and desktop applications for a seamless experience.

While it's not for everyone, Dropbox offers a slick interface, convenience of the cloud, and administrative controls for business users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

The application client seems to have settled down and grown up, but in the past, we've had issues with it not respecting the settings to keep items on the cloud. Instead, it would aggressively attempt to sync the cloud data to the machine resulting in filled up hard drives.

Also, while we have not experienced any problems or issues with security, I do know that others have concerns about the methods used in transmitting the data over the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
