Widely used and fairly easy to figure out, Dropbox kind of just works. You can try it out with limited storage for free but for more industrial uses, you'll want/need to upgrade to a paid account, of course. So, it's just a type of cloud storage, really. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That I need to pay extra to store/share a decent amount of files sucks, of course :-) This works fine but I'm weary of truly using it to library our work. We keep multiple other types of longer-term storage in disc and hard drive backup form. Plus, it seems a glitchy and CPU-intensive and customer service is so-so. What to do? Maybe I should be shopping for a better alternative? I suspect all file sharing/cloud services have annoying drawbacks but maybe I'm wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
