What I like most about Drivetrain is its flexibility and ability to bring financial and operational data together in one place. It integrates with our ERP, Salesforce, and other data sources, making it easier to access and analyze information without switching between multiple systems. The platform allows us to build customized reports and dashboards tailored to our specific business needs. Data syncs automatically on a regular basis, with the option to trigger a manual sync whenever updated information is needed. I also appreciate the responsiveness of the Drivetrain team, their support during implementation, and their willingness to listen to feedback and continuously improve the product. While Drivetrain offers a lot of flexibility, there is a learning curve, especially when building more complex reports and dashboards. Some features are not immediately intuitive, and achieving the desired results can require trial and error or assistance from the support team. I believe there is still room to improve the user experience and make report creation more straightforward, particularly for users who are less familiar with the platform. One of the biggest limitations for me is exporting reports to Excel. Currently, exported reports contain values rather than the underlying formulas. Having the ability to export reports with formulas intact would be a significant improvement, especially for Finance teams that need to perform further analysis, validate calculations, or modify reports outside the platform.
