I have been using DreamApply for the last ten years of my working experience, and I contributed in implementing this CRM in the admission process of one of the institutions I was working for.

For me, DreamApply is a daily working companion. One of the first tabs I open in the morning, one of the last to be closed in the evening. My focus is student recruitment operations, therefore the platform allows me to monitor the whole funnel, download manageable data at any time, and monitor KPIs and trends in a few clicks – which saves a lot of time during peak periods. Managing a network of 90+ education consultancy firms based all around the world is easier, when you have powerful features like trackers, tabs, advanced filters by your side.

Over time, the confidence with the platform grows and you find yourself helping your IT department in the development, writing and testing rules for automation. The learning curve is acceptable, even if you don’t do programming for a living.

The admission and assessing part is probably the most time-saving part. DreamApply centralizes the application/selection process in one portal, avoiding tens of emails with attachments. All communications pass through the platform, you can schedule interviews and draw ranking lists for admission – all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some features may be improved, for sure – like in any CRM. For instance: sometimes you have to be careful when you manage data downloaded from the platform, because applicants can pick multiple courses for application (up to two choices in our institution’s case) and the offer type is consequently replicated for each applicant – which means that you will have the same applicant counted twice in the tables when you download the data. You have to familiarize with that before preparing any report. The Brightside is the efficiency of the support team at DreamApply: they are very responsive and collaborative.
