I like how easy it is to pull videos in and create a project, storing all the artifacts for the video. I love how Dovetail connects with Claude, allowing me to get even richer details and results. Having all the user research in one place, organized in a way that is helpful, is really great. The transcriptions and clustering it does are also impressive. The initial setup was pretty easy, especially with setting up folders and structure. It's been a huge help for our team organization, making it easier to find out what customers have to say. I think some of the things with data tables can be frustrating. When I'm trying to highlight items in a table, it often highlights the whole cell instead of just the content I want. It's a bit buggy, and I wish it allowed more selective highlighting and tagging. Also, I feel like there are many tools in Dovetail that I'm not fully utilizing simply because I don't know about them, so I might not be making the most out of it.
