Knox automation and the unified PM workflow are what I like best. I work with 4 different property managers across 10 properties, and DoorVault finally gives me one place where the data comes together. Knox reads PM statements, files documents, creates transactions, helps reconcile deposits against what the PM reported, and keeps the portfolio view current. The only downside is that there is a learning curve because DoorVault covers so much of the investor back office. Setting up properties, PMs, document flows, bank reconciliation, cloud sync, and reporting takes a little attention at the beginning. Once everything is connected, though, the time savings are obvious and the system becomes much easier than the spreadsheets, folders, and PM portals it replaced. I have 10 properties and work with 4 different PMs, so before DoorVault I had data spread across PM portals, emails, PDFs, cloud folders, bank history, and spreadsheets. Now the PM statements, documents, transactions, cloud-synced files, and bank reconciliation all flow into one portfolio view.
