What do you like best about Doodly?

Very intuitive to use and get going with. I make all kinds of videos using this platform for either the doodle type videos or just as templates and then throw the rest in photoshop to finish up. I've been super pleased with their customer service, too. They seem like a great group of people who are just trying to make an awesome product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Doodly?

I wish that doodly would make other features like letting pictures just appear instead of being slowly drawn in and they could flip, but I figured out how to do that in photoshop and some times I make videos now with their social media templated size, add music, and do the rest in photoshop. What problems is Doodly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have a really long process to how I make my creations and a lot of people don't realize how much goes into them. This software does a nice job helping me tell that story so clients realize why I charge so much and are happier to spend more with me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Doodly?

It is very handy to understand and create Doodle videos. It provides lots of pre-defined assets to use and also allows us to upload our assets to use. Doodly allows you to export videos even in 4K resolution. It provides updates frequently to implement new things. It has an excellent support team and they can assist round the clock. What do you like best about Doodly?

Doodly is intuitive and easy to use. You can either start with pre-set scenes, or with a blank canvas and build the scene you have in mind. Just drag and drop the props and characters you need and with a simple click, get them what you want them to do. On the timeline you just pull the action to the time it's supposed to happen and you have your animation ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Doodly?

With the pre-set animations, you can get to do the characters a lot of different things - but not everything is possible. Which kinda makes sense, since if it is supposed to be easy and one-click it's just not possible to have every possible option built in that someone might need. 2 things I don't like about Doodly.

1.) Watch out for "add-on" costs. The basic image library that comes with Doodly will likely not be good enough for you, so you may end up buying a lot of extra assets.

2.) It is incredibly easy to find yourself making the same video over and over again. Be careful you don't fall into a rut and start creating stale, boring content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
