Their chat line team is always patient in solving problems. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** We currently use a mainstream payment platform that isn't automatically integrated with DonorPerfect, so we've had to build a custom API that has limitations. Additionally, managing duplicate accounts is cumbersome. The process isn't as simplified as it should be, and there’s no easy way to handle duplicates efficiently within the system. It can be time-consuming and confusing, which adds unnecessary complexity to our donor management. I also find it difficult to locate our account information in DonorPerfect. The layout could be much more intuitive, and it's not always easy to find what I need when I need it. The account details are not in a location that's straightforward or easy to access, which often leads to wasted time and frustration. The backend interface is clunky and not intuitive. The support is only marginally helpful. And the demos are misleading. Most of the features they show are extra costs that require either an upgrade or an integration with another service (also an additional cost). Many of the features that are standard in Blackbaud, Bonterra, or Salesforce are extras with DonorPerfect. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. Chat support has been very helpful with any questions that we have had. Most of the time support has been able to answer the questions on chat but there have been a few instances where we had to wait for an answer, which didn't take too long and we were happy with the response. The database was implemented in late 2020 and we had no issues in the transition. DonorPerfect works well with other programs such as Qgive and GiveCloud, which we use for some of our forms. Our staff uses DonorPerfect five days a week for many hours a day and we find that we are satisfied with how DonorPerfect works for us. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** DonorPerfect is working on updating their "new" forms but there's still a way to go. We converted from SalesForce, which was not serving our purposes. DP staff were helpful in that transfer though in retrospect, I wish we had done it a little differently. It is great to be able to easily input donors and gifts into DP, to analyze and pull reports based on coding, and otherwise get a good handle on our donor base and potential donors. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** Some of the more advanced applications are not particularly intuitive and require training. It is important to do a comprehensive transfer of an existing donorbase into DP. We did not do that as well as we should have and now are finding some global problems we will have to address. Their suggestion is always to use the "Suggest and Vote" option and hope that they implement your idea at some point. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** Report creating is not as user friendly to navigate. DP uses different terms for things that what we were previously used to...for example "Notes" section for me is called "Contacts" in DP. You can use the screen designer to change certain things to reflect what you want to see, but if you are creating a template you have to refer to the original coding. I do not like the fact that DP wants spouses to be one combined account, instead of separate. You can keep them separate, but unless you soft credit the spouse on every donation it will not capture that they gave. Our way around that will be to only choose one spouse that we label as the HOH to be the recipient of any acknowledgement letters, unless we know that they prefer to be separate on their giving. There is no easy way to run a report to determine both individuals giving levels without running them individually, combining them on a spreadsheet, and manually deleting duplicate entries in order to give them their total. Knowledgebase and webinars are pretty outdated.Lot's of questions being asked, and no answers. There have been constant issues with inconsistent information that shows in DP that does not correlate with what the processing gateway shows. BTW the processing gateway you have to use is SafeSave, and Donor Perfect owns them.
