It's super helpful when I'm in the middle of working on something and I get stuck. I've also used the helpline and all the agents I've spoken with have been professional, knowledgeable, and capable of helping me. I've also used the pre-recorded webinars to learn how to do something and they've always been clear and easy to follow. All in all, I think the support DP offers its users is top notch. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** DonorPerfect can do ALOT and that can be overwhelming at times. It's sometimes difficult to sift through all the things DP can do when I'm trying to find out how to do what I want it to do. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** DP helps us keep track of our network of supporters and allows us to keep all kinds of information about them. I like that they don't have to be a financial donor for us to keep track of our interactions with them. We use it to keep track of people who've come to our events, who volunteer with us, and vendors/businesses who give us discounted rates/gifts in kind. It's nice to have one place where we can store all our info and run reports to get information. If we kept the info in multiple databases, it would be a nightmare to have to go hunting for all that information and bring it together manually. ### 2. The reporting is robust enough to produce sliced and diced lists for mailing, thank you calls, and to help us learn more about our donors. We had a great training experience with Sean Potero and I've been happy with the chat support we've received since then. Compared to our previous CRM, Raiser's Edge, it's light years more modern and intuitive. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** As with any CRM, navigating data imports from other platforms like Greater Giving is difficult. No two programs handle households or couples in the same way, and that makes importing event or auction data frustrating. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need to track our donors' engagement and ensure our deposits balance with what accounting sees in the bank. Our biggest problem prior to using DonorPerfect was pulling reports from an outdated Raiser's Edge database, and the filters and reporting functions of DonorPerfect has made our lives much easier. ### 3. Also, when I started my new job in early December, I had never used Donor Perfect and unfortunately there was no real training or turnover from the previous person in my role. With time, I have been able to figure a lot of things out on my own and when I can't, I get GREAT service through the chat feature. The support staff is so easy to work with - they are prompt, thorough and make sure that they answer all of my questions. I always leave our chat sessions with all of the information I need to complete my tasks. We use Donor Perfect every day, almost all day - I've actually really enjoyed learning how to maximize the features to easily integrate with my daily tasks. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** It isn't the most intuitive. Things like templates and reports are spread out among multiple areas so I have to hunt to find what I need. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since we receive donations from multiple sources, Donor Perfect is able to integrate with other services and automatically load the donation information into the system. That reduces the amount of data entry I have to do daily and also increases accuracy. ### 4. We'd love a better events management system than what's currently included and its peer-to-peer campaign tools aren't as strong as others on the market. Be sure to really dig into the pricing before you sign a contract. It is easy to identify and search out donors and gifts. But probably my favorite thing about DonorPerfect is their customer service. They are consistently helpful, friendly and often educate me on best practices. Over the years, I have become more and more confident in what I can do using DonorPerfect (especially knowing there is a great customer service team to help). **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** Probably the "pledge" piece of DonorPerfect. I realize DonorPerfect is not an accounting software, but there are times I would like the pledges to be a little more flexible. For example, each month, I run my pledge 'reminders' manually because it's not feasible to just run all of the pledges due in a given period (even if a frequency is known). **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** DonorPerfect gives our organization the flexibility of having different end users utilize it for each department's goals. For example, our Admissions Office utilizes DP for managing our prospective students and their families. The customer support team is excellent and consistently responsive. Beyond what is included with DonorPerfect, the integration of Constant Contact and Givecloud has been especially valuable, as we use these tools regularly. My colleague and I access the database daily. We have also recently started using SimpleTix, which has proven to be an effective solution for our ticketing requirements. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** I wish the online forms were a little less clunky. The new drag and drop forms are a step in the right direction, but I miss having the ability to see who has given to that form directly. Coming from a background with Blackbaud and SalesForce, I found the reporting system to be a bit hard to wrap my mind around at first, but now we use it constantly. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's allowing us to keep up with our donors, and allowing for us to keep best practice. It is a constant resource throughout the day. DonorPerfect is a very robust CRM, however it is an easy interface to learn how to use and generate valuable reports. DonorPerfect is also flexible and customizable to showcase the most important information for our organization.
