Easy to use interface. Obviously, its free so that is a huge plus.

I wish there were options that made Memberships more flexible, like discounts and things like that.

Offers a free CRM for our donors and members. This soles a big issue for a small nonprofit just getting started.

Events and tickets are easy to customize. 

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Could be because I am on the lower feature plan, but wish I could update the forms for my website.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have donations all in the one spot and better donate forms on my website. Sqaurespace donations are harder to implement and don't look as nice on the website.

I think the Donorbox plugin is easy to use and easy to customize, which allows me to set it up the way I like it. I also really like the Donorbox podcast, and I find it very educational.

I use Donorbox to collect donations for my nonprofit. It made the process easier and is better than my old plugin. I find the plugin easy to use and customize.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

It was easy to use, easy to share.  It was easy to see the results as well as adjust the goal as needed.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Well, I don’t like the fees... No one does... this is donations so it should be as fee free as possible.  I really don’t love there are “pay for more” features.  That’s just greedy and shouldn’t be something that a donation company should be looking to do.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a one stop shop for collection donations to then share with worthy causes.  I might use this again, I might use Go Fund Me.

I am new to Donorbox as is my organization. We found it very simple to move through the process of considering the product to implementing our first campaign. So far we appreciate the support provided by the platform and have found features easy to use. We're looking forward to learning more and growing our fundraising with Donorbox.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

What I like best about Donorbox is how beginner-friendly it is. I was able to set up a donation page in no time, and it looked clean and professional without needing any coding experience. It’s also great that Donorbox tracks donors and sends automatic receipts, which saves me time and keeps everything organized. The recurring donation option is a huge bonus for building long-term support.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

The biggest downside is that some of the more advanced features are only available through paid plans, which can be tough for new or smaller nonprofits with limited budgets. It would be great if more of those features were accessible from the start or offered on a sliding scale. That said, the free version still provides a lot of value.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox is helping solve the problem of setting up a professional, trustworthy donation system without needing a full tech or design team. As a new nonprofit, I needed something quick, easy, and reliable—and Donorbox delivered. It takes the stress out of tracking donations, sending receipts, and managing donor information. This has allowed me to focus more on growing the organization and supporting the youth we serve, instead of worrying about backend systems or payment processing.

The stripe reader configuration was the most complicated bit, but once that was sorted the sync with Donorbox was simple. Its worked perfectly all night long, users found it super easy to understand and interact with and we're really happy with the results.

I'd like an option to turn off user email - it slows down the process and most of our users don't need an email receipt or want to supply an email address.

It's helping us receive funds into a different country from where the charity is registered by linking with our Stripe account.

Donorbox has completely streamlined our donation process at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School. What stands out most is how easy it was to implement and how intuitive the platform is for both administrators and donors. The Donorbox CRM allows us to efficiently manage and track all of our supporters, ensuring no one slips through the cracks. We especially love the built-in email marketing tools, they’ve helped us strengthen engagement with our donor base, send personalized thank-yous, and share timely updates with ease. It’s an all-in-one platform that’s elevated our fundraising capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

While Donorbox has been a game-changer overall, some customization features, especially for branding email templates or building more complex donor journeys—feel a bit limited without upgrading to higher-tier plans or using integrations. Additionally, the reporting tools, while helpful, could benefit from a more visual dashboard for quick insights. Still, these are relatively minor drawbacks given the platform’s ease of use and affordability.

Before implementing Donorbox, our school’s donation process was outdated, fragmented, and difficult to manage. We didn’t have a centralized system to track donor history, manage recurring gifts, or engage supporters in a meaningful way. Donorbox solved these issues by providing a modern, user-friendly platform that consolidates donation processing, donor management, and email communication in one place. It’s helped us save time, reduce administrative errors, and build stronger relationships with our supporters. As a result, we’re seeing increased donor retention, more recurring gifts, and a smoother experience for both staff and donors.

I don't have any problems with donor box through bigfoot books. With another nonprofit, I did have to restart it once to make it work on our website-but again, simple fix.

It allows customization of the campaign page so that when donors click the link, it's a clear and concise. It makes it very easy to also provide a donation link and intergrate on our website.

Not sure if this is a dislike of Donorbox, but I had considerable trouble getting the Stripe account linked so that we cause begin accepting donations. It took several attempts and contacting support to finally get this up and working. But at last, success!

It has provided us with a direct gateway for our donors to donate with ease!
