What do you like best about DocuWare?

I like the ease of use of the DocuWare system in general. I like the increased visibility of documents for the users who need them and the improved security for protecting documents from users who shouldn't see them. I like the robustness and the flexibility of the DocuWare system and the many options for integrating the document availability into other line-of-business applications. With the addition of Forms and Digital Workflows, DocuWare is the only ECM system you will ever need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuWare?

I do wish DocuWare did a better job of automatically grouping (clipping and/or stapling) similar documents, based on key index fields, when indexing and storing documents. This is currently a very "manual" process when dealing with a large batches of dissimilar document types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering DocuWare:

Take the time to plan your required file cabinets, document volumes, and retention policies in the beginning. This effort will pay off in the long run with a more efficient and more maintainable document management solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use DocuWare to handle document management activities in every department throughout our organization. DocuWare has improved the accuracy of filing and storing documents, greatly decreased the time it takes to locate documents at a later time, and improved the visibility of documents for the appropriate users. What do you like best about DocuWare?

This a super easy to use application where you sign up, add companies and start managing documents in a safe and organised manner. Found this and Integrated with my everyday work and communications with customer and streamlining document centric workflows became simpler due to its right implementation. "Filing without the faff"

What do you like best about DocuWare?

I have recently found that you can highlight all of the invoices you wish to fill in a certain location and they will load one after another without having to select the file destination for each one.

As I use this on a daily basis to file and search I find that the system overall is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuWare?

prior to finding the hack mentioned it was the fact that you had to click into each one, but not it would be the fact that it doesn't always find the document you need in the search option if you are been vague Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love most is that—with just one click—I can pull dates, names, or IDs and drop them right into preset index fields. Plus DocuWare lets us build smart filters (perfect for inconsistent formats) and create dynamic forms that instantly generate files ready for long-term storage. "First impressions on a approval workflow"

What do you like best about DocuWare?

IIf well configured in every aspect, Docuware can come in to help translate the paper-based stream into a fully digital (paperless) stream. There are no limits. After the first test flow, our company tried its hand at forms management, thus eliminating a whole series of internal documents and forms that had no digital trail. These forms can be correlated to external or internal Db for retrieval of one or more data. In our case, an integration between ERP and Docuware is a must. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuWare?

In our case we made use of the Cloud license.

The price is definitely a bit high, and the gb available is small compared to the growth of companies in the current period (50 GB). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
