What do you like best about Docusign?

What stands out most to me is the blend of a seamless signer UI/UX and truly rock-solid integrations. For recipients, the signing experience is intuitive, mobile-friendly, and doesn’t require account creation, which helps reduce drop-off when executing critical agreements. From a technical perspective, DocuSign’s REST APIs and Connect webhooks make it straightforward and dependable to embed automated agreement workflows directly into internal systems. Performance is consistently strong as well, with near-instant envelope dispatch, excellent uptime, and legally robust completion certificates that meet compliance standards without adding operational overhead. What do you dislike about Docusign?

My main frustration is the pricing model and how it affects overall ROI as agreement volume scales. Strict envelope limits, costly overage fees, and the way essential capabilities like SMS delivery or advanced identity verification are locked behind higher pricing tiers make it hard to forecast costs with confidence. On top of that, while the recipient UI is polished and easy to use, the administrative experience—especially when setting up complex templates and conditional routing—can feel clunky and unintuitive. The newer AI and document intelligence features also seem walled off in separate enterprise add-ons instead of being available within the core platform, which limits the ability to automate document review without a significant additional spend. What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?

DocuSign removes the operational bottlenecks that come with manually coordinating, sending, and tracking multi-party agreements. Before, managing physical paperwork or a fragmented digital agreement lifecycle created major turnaround delays and added friction during customer onboarding. By centralizing automated document distribution, signer verification, and status tracking into one streamlined flow, agreement completion times dropped from days to minutes. This has noticeably simplified recipient onboarding and reduced internal support tickets, since signers rarely run into roadblocks during execution. The automated, tamper-evident audit trails and completion certificates also reduce the need for manual compliance audits, giving internal teams greater legal peace of mind while freeing up resources to stay focused on core operations.
