Discuss makes the whole process easy! I especially love that I can see my discussion guide during my interviews and check off questions as they're asked. Clients like the backroom/chat and the ability to mark moments that matter to them during the interviews. I've gotten to know the Discuss support team from doing interviews so regularly and they're really lovely people. As a freelancer, I always ask new clients to consider Discuss, if they don't already use it. It just makes research SO much easier, and when I get stuck on a non-Discuss platform, I can immediately feel the pinch and lack of ease. Luckily I've convinced all my clients to switch over so this hasn't been a problem for a while! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the persistent translation tab on the screen for non-translated projects. It's a small thing but it is screen clutter that isn't necessary for 99% of my projects and, because cognitive load matters for moderators,--we are managing clients in the backroom, reading the guide, talking to the participant, and staying ahead of tech issues--having that tab there stresses me out.
