Even just a month in, what's stood out most about Discord is how well it organizes communities. I use it for a study/work group, and the ability to split conversations into different channels and servers makes it much easier to keep discussions focused and find past messages compared to a single group chat. It's been simple to get comfortable with, even as a newer user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone who joined about a month ago, my biggest frustration has been notification overload. With multiple channels active in a study/work server, it’s very easy to get flooded with pings and end up missing which ones actually need my attention. Better default notification settings for new members would make a big difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
