I like that Dictation Daddy is easy to access across different devices, whether I’m on a computer or my cell phone. I can use it for pretty much anything—text messages, emails, taking nicer notes, or even on Slack—and it integrates smoothly with everything.
Overall, I’m a lot happier with this than other apps I’ve used. It just feels more straightforward, and once you give it permission, it’s easy to spot and use the green mic button. I also like that the little mic shows up in every app on my phone, which makes dictation feel automatically more convenient. Since it’s always there, I end up using it more often.
On top of that, the initial setup was super simple. I use it on Slack and in my emails, and even on WhatsApp when messaging clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it’s a bit disappointing that you only get a free trial and there isn’t a free version, especially compared with similar apps. That said, I still feel it’s well worth the premium subscription fee overall. My only other issue is that background noise sometimes affects the accuracy of my text.
