I like DFIN Venue for housing our scientific and corporate dataroom. It lets me, as a one-person team, manage access to our confidential information safely and reliably with multiple parties. The format of one dataroom and managing access through users and teams is critical for keeping everything up-to-date and discussion-stage appropriate. I really appreciate the user management functions. I can stage access for a group of users tailored to the business interaction and level of engagement with a potential partner, which is a big win for our small biotech with a lean team. Setting up DFIN Venue couldn't be easier; I managed the entire dataroom live in less than an hour. I made the switch from OneHub to DFIN Venue because its architecture allows for one dataroom where access is managed by teams, instead of creating a dataroom for each partner. The staging area is a bit cumbersome for large updates. I have been using it to get leadership to review documents before they go live. A way to assign tasks for review to the internal admins and prioritize what sections or files to review would be helpful for those not intimately familiar with the DFIN Venue interface.
