One advantage is that the visual editor makes web automation accessible to individuals who aren't comfortable with coding. Another benefit is that all web automation "robots" you construct are powered by Dexi, so you won't need to set up a server/scheduler yourself. Also, I like that the support for third-party services (captcha solvers, cloud storage, etc.) can be easily integrated into your robots. Another advantage is that web automation is far from as simple as people think. I have a lot of experience working with different automation frameworks (mostly Selenium), so I'm well aware of how challenging these things can be at times. So I'm somewhat impressed with what the Dexi team has managed to build here. Also, I have to highlight that while the support team can be somewhat slow to respond at times (and this is coming from someone on the priciest account level), they definitely know their stuff. Any issues you encounter in Dexi can usually be resolved by them, though the time it takes for said resolution varies a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One disadvantage is that the robot manager in Dexi is both a blessing and a curse. If you're not used to working with web automation, you'll find it much more helpful than writing code, but if you're well-versed in Selenium, for example, you'll certainly experience some frustration at times. Another disadvantage is that Dexi has an API, which is great, but many things can be done through their API that there's no support for at the moment. For example, retrieving artifacts from a failed execution (logs, screenshots). Also, I have to highlight that there's also the fact that your bots aren't being executed in a "normal" browser, but rather Dexi's custom browser. This means actions you can perform without issue in your own web browser may not work the same way when you try them out in a Dexi robot. And if you do encounter this, and there's no other way to execute the action you're attempting to perform, you're completely out of luck and need to contact the Dexi support team for help. I understand that my use of this product is likely more advanced than the average user, so these complaints may not apply to your use case. Dexi is, in general, a great service.
