I use Designmodo Postcards to design clean, responsive HTML email newsletters and product announcements without writing any code. It solves the constant headache of broken email layouts and slow development times. The drag-and-drop builder and pre-designed modules make assembling layouts incredibly fast, eliminating the need to write custom HTML or fix mobile layout bugs manually. The built-in AI assistant simplifies drafting copy, and exporting the final HTML directly to major email marketing platforms saves hours of testing. I really like the modular drag-and-drop system and pre-built content blocks for building clean, professional email newsletters quickly. The pre-built Header/Hero modules, 3-column Feature grids, and Call-to-Action blocks are particularly useful as they speed up my workflow by allowing me to drag and drop structured content easily. I find the module constraints too rigid. Individual content blocks are structured tightly, making fine-grained CSS tweaks, like setting unique padding, custom line heights, or non-standard border styles, difficult without editing raw HTML after exporting. I wish the free plan had a higher allowance on exports. It caps usage at 5 exports per month, and the Plus plan limits it to 20 per month. Raising these monthly caps or offering a soft tier option would help prevent workflows from grinding to a halt during heavy campaign testing cycles. Additionally, because Designmodo Postcards is strictly an email builder and not an Email Service Provider, I still have to export my HTML and manage contacts, sending, and analytics through a separate platform.
