I like that Descartes MyCarrierPortal lets us collect all the carrier’s data and documents in one place, where they’re just a click away when we need them. Instead of collecting documents separately, we can find them together and save time. It also alerts us to day-to-day red flags and gives us a heads-up before we start working with a new carrier. I can’t request updated documents from a carrier through the portal, such as an insurance certificate with modifications. I’d also like an option to have carrier documents vetted so I know they’re genuine and don’t need to verify them individually.
