What do you like best about Descartes MacroPoint?

I really like Descartes MacroPoint's reliable real-time visibility and how it significantly reduces tracking efforts. It's great for maintaining accurate ETAs, automating shipment updates, and improving communication across teams. I also appreciate its integrations with multiple ELD providers and telematics systems, which make onboarding and tracking more efficient for carriers and brokers. The newer Control Tower 2.0 interface is much more user-friendly, organized, and efficient than previous versions. The updated layout makes it easier to monitor loads, navigate between tracking details, and manage day-to-day visibility operations smoothly. What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?

One thing that could still be improved is tracking consistency across smaller carriers that use older or less compatible ELD systems. Occasionally, integrations can be inconsistent depending on the telematics provider being used. There are also times when tracking permissions or driver app adoption create delays during onboarding. I use Descartes MacroPoint for real-time load tracking and visibility, helping reduce manual tracking calls, improve shipment monitoring, provide accurate ETAs, and maintain better communication with carriers and customers, enhancing operational efficiency.
