What I like most about Dehancer is how easy it is to get a film-like look without making the footage feel overly processed. I mainly use it in Final Cut Pro, and the film profiles, grain, halation, and other tools give me a lot of room to experiment. One thing I’d say is that Dehancer can take some time to learn, especially if you’re new to film emulation. There are a lot of controls, and it’s easy to overdo the look at first.
