What I like most about DeepL is how practical it is for my day-to-day work. I use it often when handling work-related emails, documents, and other content in different languages. What really stands out is that the translations keep the original meaning and context and read naturally, instead of coming across as literal, word-for-word conversions. This is especially helpful when I’m drafting professional communication or trying to understand messages from international teams. It’s fast, reliable for everyday tasks, and takes very little effort to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One area that could be improved is how technical and industry-specific terminology is handled. While DeepL generally performs well for everyday business communication, some phrases can lose their intended meaning when translating technical documents or more detailed, work-related content. Because of that, I usually double-check those translations before using them in professional communication. More consistent results in these situations would make the tool feel even more reliable.
