Once my organization set up my account, all I needed to do was verify my details and confirm my hourly rate, which made onboarding simple and fast. The interface feels very intuitive, especially for time tracking: I choose the date, enter the hours I worked that day, and tag them to the right project. Each entry takes me about five minutes, and it genuinely saves time compared with other systems I’ve used.
After my hours are approved, Deel processes payment reliably and shows a clear, transparent view of each stage, so I always know exactly where things stand. I’ve never had any payment issues or delays. I also use Deel’s partnership with Wise, and my payments arrive quickly, on schedule, and with zero commission fees—something that makes a real difference for me as a freelancer working with international clients.
The one time I contacted support, they responded quickly and were genuinely kind, which increased my confidence in the platform. I mainly use Deel for time tracking and payments, so I haven’t explored its integrations with other tools in depth yet, but that’s something I’d like to test more in the future. Honestly, I don’t have any major complaints about Deel. The main change I’ve noticed is how they handle email notifications. They used to send an email for each invoice, clearly telling you whether it was approved or rejected. Now they only send a weekly summary, and it tends to arrive a bit late. Rejections still seem to be communicated separately, but approvals no longer trigger an individual email.
It would be really helpful if they brought back a notification once all of my invoices have been approved, ideally including the total payment amount I’ll be receiving. This may be easier to track in the mobile app, but I only use the web version because it’s much more convenient for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thank you for your glowing review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed using Deel. We’re constantly working to improve our service and hope to exceed your expectations in the future.
